  1. A couple of videos around 6am There were only a couple of these bomb-like discharges, caught one of them on video made me jump though! PXL_20220825_045959213~2.mp4 PXL_20220825_045018056~3.mp4
  2. That's amazing I had 35mm in about 30 mins, they named the shopping centre "The Ark" quite apt really. Sods law the lack of rain over the last couple of months arrived in 2hours.
  3. There was an enhanced area of sferics tracked over, it was quite intense. 30+strikes a minute. Had 30mm in about 35 mins. Still thundering occasionally. Had a couple of bomb like detonations a couple of miles away, as the MCS moved off. All the lightning was hidden in the clouds, didn't see one channel. The storm that has tracked in from the English Channel is here now.
  4. The trajectory is just East of London I'd say. Although I've already been wrong today Radar stuck on 02.55
  5. The timing on this sucks , about six hours too late...... There goes the Norfolk Virgas!
  6. Unless you're in Kent/Sussex, or the Channel isles, it will be daylight before any storms are around.
  7. I have a feeling it will be getting light before any storms make it this far north.... Some development to the west of London now
  8. Yes jellyfish/virga I often call them, not really showing on radar as they're small, but these could erupt over Norfolk later.
  9. Some forerunner "Jellies" signs of destabilising now. Currently Temp 21.4C DP 16C
  10. Too far north last night for me https://spaceweathergallery.com/indiv_upload.php?upload_id=187767
  11. I was out looking for Aurora last two nights, I didn't get any photos as it was partly cloudy Thursday. Clear skies earlier today but Aurora was too far north. There's a few photos from Northumberland of the Aurora. On Thursday I saw a couple of Persieds, got this one with my phone on a small tripod.
  12. Some of these do, for next time. https://m.youtube.com/c/UmbriaWebcam
  13. Chance of Auroras tonight going by this, guaranteed to be cloudy though . SpaceWeather.com -- News and information about meteor showers, solar flares, auroras, and near-Earth asteroids WWW.SPACEWEATHER.COM
  14. Live sound would be nice, too far away to hear though. Could be a Supercell / developing MCS Very intense storm European Storm Forecast Experiment - ESTOFEX WWW.ESTOFEX.ORG
  15. Will have to rely on Atlantic fronts for rain, no measurable rain today. I'm sure it WILL rain again soon, the nature of storms means rainfall is concentrated in some areas.
  16. I've seen two flashes from the Kent storm, it's not very active ATM. Would you believe it the sferics have gone to meet the windfarms. Very murky hereabouts now,so getting to bed.
  17. A fighter jet, or an aerobatic aircraft making a circle?
  18. Yes could be alot of debris from spent storms, not good for later today.
  19. Persied from the 10th 02.30 From the 13th about 01.30 14th 04.00
  20. In pool NJ To the upper left of the plough on the 13th about 02.20
  21. I think I got that one also number 12, about 2am looking southwest. Number 17 in your vid looks like a satellite flare, as it appears in more than one frame. Meteors will only show in a single frame. I've seen three bright meteors this am 03.15-04.00 Good video
