    On to day two. Now at T+360 Christmas Day 2018 is looking at wee bit different....

    Now that at T+384 we have the first predictions from the GFS model for Christmas Day 2018 it felt like a good idea to post daily that chart every 24 hours to see its progression. Think it will be a fascinating insight into the FI sphere and then into reliable to see where we end up. Comment is of course welcome in the Hunt for Cold thread

    A good 5mm of glaze ice all over the car this morning - heavy freezing rain at -2C. Bugger to get off!

    Sleet pellet-snow, cold wind. Not forecast - love it. Dew point back up now though 2.2/1°C.

    A much much better day. Dry and from 2pm sunny. Lovely to see the light and with a low-ish dew point it has started to dry-up.
