Quite a lively drive to work this morning in the snow. Had to slow down to 40mph over the tops where it was crunchy under tyre ?

Snow still visible beside the higher bits of M74 .
Drove from home through Biggar to Killin yesterday in the wind and rain. A702/M74/M73/M80/M9/A84/A85. Snow still around both of ends of that journey!

Seriously what a week this has been I've only been a member on netweather since 2013 and I've never witnessed this thread buzzing like it has this week. absolutely brilliant with the commentary and the photos and of course the Scottish banter.
Hopefully it will be the same again in 2 weeks time .I'm going back to work now to get some much needed rest

I notice a short, sweet, northerly incursion for Friday has upgraded. A 36hr cold snap with a decent chance of snow temps a better direction for @More Snow and @Northernlights those more east who’ve missed out.
46 pages in fewer than six days. It's been fun!

Aye I didn't word it very well, I meant I'm assuming the 31cm at Tulloch Bridge is today's snowfall on top of what ever was lying before the frontal snow arrived. I didn't mean adding all the accumulations together. Be interesting to see how much they actually got at Tulloch Bridge from this frontal event.
Aye, I'd figured out what you were trying to say and edited my post!

We've had 33/30/37/33/30 cms on different days lying flat on the lawn. Wind, thaw, sublimation. Completely random!

Just been outside for an admittedly beer-fuelled run around in 37cm of snow. Absolutely knackered now and with a chafed ankle from ma wellies.
Brilliant!!

February is the UK's snowiest month.
I doubt it will beat the last four days tbh.

Somebody might as well be chucking rice in my face when I go outside...

Heaviest snow since Tuesday here again. Just got back from the neighbour's when it started. Mr fatty flakes billowing down there and the gritted A701 covered once again. Snow Farrah only went past 90 minttes ago.

Dam right Ruzzi! That was a must have living here. She gets up the drive in the ice like a whisp of wind

A good 45 minutes of heavy snow there - as good as Tuesday afternoon before dark. Headed east further into the deepest Borders...

I was up around 3am and it was moderate snow - but nothing like Tuesday. Disappointing and a lesson in frontal ppn behaviour as CMD suggests! Local roads still closed and we are running out of supplies. Send a helicopter with a curry.

Radar seems to have a segment under-reporting intensify out just north of NI.
