Oh well - just made a big mistake.... Went out to water the grass, and got attacked by loads of gnats and can you believe it a bat swoop down towards me as well..., gave myself a little sprink afterwards as its still so warm. 25c here still, and the breeze has also died down. It's going to be uncomfotable tonight 😔. Cold shower for me know then off to bed... Laters peeps, until tomorrow 😊

Absolutely clear blue skies here now. Just popped into the garden, and it feels as hot as it did the afternoon. Got a current temp of 29c, not sure how accurate that is.... Going to be a sticky night tonight 😞 But without the awkward sand sticking to you 😄

Anyone else see the news 24 weather just now? Looks like Louise Lear has been in the sun today 😄 Starting to cloud over now, and feels very humid and uncomfortable. But thankfully with a breeze and all the windows open, it feels okay inside. Good evening all 😊

30c here now. Phew it's hot out there - can't wait to finish work and enjoy it....

Oh wow - Just stepped outside from my air conditioned office and it is hot out there. That feeling of the heat hitting your skin, reminds me of going on holiday and when you first leave the aiport terminal :-). On my weather app it now says 29c. Surely today will be the hottest of the year so far....

I have 21c here. Gonna be an uncomfortable night.... No breeze outside either 😞

I've started to notice the nights drawing in also over the past couple of days when I have been out walking. I suppose its been over a month since we had the longest day. Bring on the snow 👹

Evening all. Well I didn't expect to read what I read over the last few pages. I think on the whole, when there is weather worth commenting on, the off topic posts usually stop. I also like the wording 'community' I look forward to coming on here and hearing about things going on - we are like cyber friends. Anyway, been pretty cloudy here all day, apart for a couple of very short brighter spells. Felt quite close and humid tonight, as I was leaving work. Current temp here is 22c. Looking forward to a blast of heat tomorrow, with the possibility of a storm on Friday (not holding my breath on the later though) good evening all 😉

I agree with rain overnight to water the gardens etc... But I like to wear flip flops and shorts in the summer months, without my feet getting wet. I think the high humidity and temps towards the end of the heatwave got on most people's nerves. But today's weather should be reserved for autumn and early spring. Maybe we have been spoilt, but I want more of it 😀

Thats quite a way to describe today's weather 😄 but have to agree. Was woken up with rain hitting the windows and now just horrible and drizzly. 17c here, could be late October looking out of the window....

It's more like April here today. One min we have bright blue skies, then the next it's dark and hammering it down. We've had two downpours in the last 20 mins... Got a temp of 23c and a brisk SW breeze. Maybe that breeze could bring some of the action the SW is having to us?

Its a Honda 125. Nothing special at all. I mainly use to do the Knowledge of London, but occasionally use it for work, if the Mrs wants to use the car. Sorry for being completly off topic, but it is Wets fault 😀

Was just about to the same about the wind. Driving home from work along the A13, and I could really feel the cross-wind. Glad I was not on my motorbike today.

Good evening all. Well as most people have said, yesterday was a let down but in my neck of the woods we did manage a few impressive flashes of lightening and loud rumbles of thunder, so not all lost. Today has been a typical English summer day. Nice and warm in the sun, low humidity, and a light refreshing breeze. Just saw the News 24 weather, and they are talking about 30c on Thursday.... 3rd time lucky for a good storm? Lets hope so. Hope you've all had a good day - back to work tomorrow *sigh*

Oh well. Not the super thunder storm I was hoping for. But I had a few flashes of lightning, and thunder. Better than nothing though! On the up side we've had plenty of rain and in the morning that will make things a whole lot greener 😊 goodnight all...
