    Good morning all. A nice fresh start to the day here, got 80% cloud cover, and my head is 100% thick fog. That will teach me for drinking on a school night. Happy POETS day all, it starts again for me at 3 today, where I will be heading to Canary Wharf for a nice meal and a few more drinks in a Jazz Bar. Be lucky....

    Hi all. Been a fab day here. Nice blue skies, a gentle breeze and very warm sun out of it. Finished work a bit early today, to go for another run, which was more punishing than yesterday because for the direct sun light (hey-ho helps top up the tan) came home to my wife cooking steaks on the BBQ, now sitting in the garden enjoying this beautiful summer weather and being BITTEN alive by gnats 😄. Have a great evening all... Oh... Was looking forward to your nightly moan 😄. Glad you had a good day. Maybe tommorow will bring the same ðŸ™

    Evening all. Well I bit the bullet and done my first 10k run in 2 weeks, due to the heat. I must say, after cooling down for the last 1.5hrs, it really does not feel to humid at all. If fact I just went into the garden and we have high whispy clouds and a nice gentle breeze and it feels very comfortable! My gut feeling is that no storms in my neck of the woods tonight, but after watching the BBC news weather, it looks like there is a chance.... I'm leaving this one up to the far more knowledgable people on here and the weather gods. Over and out peeps have a great evening, whatever the weather 😉

    A very muggy afternoon here. After last nights torrential rain, and almost constant distance rumples of thunder, I was hoping for it to feel a bit fresher. I think with the cloud cover it feels more oppressive than yesterday. Hoping for a flash and a bang later though ;-)

    It's absoluty roasting here, and to make things worse, both my children have woken up having nightmares, and are now in bed with me are Mrs LeighD.... I'm going out for a drive now, and gonna have the air-con blowing full blast. Maybe I might bump into a storm. Good evening all... Have a cool evening if possible 😊

    Its amazing the micro climates we have in the BI really. I was driving round London yesterday, and it felt cool, and my brother-in-law who lives in Wales was experiencing hot hot temps. Just need to take the rough with the smooth fella. 😉

    Evening all. Well today started off really cloudy, and with my best efforts, saying it will turn out warm and sunny the wife and children all voted on going to the cinema. So we went to watch Monsters University. (Disney computer generated film) it was absolutely brill deffo recommend for all, not just people with young children 😄. Once it had finished, I got my way though, smothered the boys in suncream lotion and off for a family walk around the nature reserve, finished off by a nice cold ice-cream 😊. Hey Tom - just out of interest what were odds on Phil Winning the open?
