Evening regionaires. Well in my location it hasn't been to bad today. Actually hell of a lot better than yesterday. It's stayed dry for most of the day, with only a few light interspersed showers, which made it feel better. Although the slate grey skies, and depressed temps made me wish, we was having last weeks weather all over again. I guess at this time of year, we have to start thinking that we will start getting weather like this... But I'm sure that before the end of October we will bask in some more dry, sunny and warm days. Current temp 13c.

Hi Lottie. Unfortunately my wife is a culporate of that sin today. When I got home from from work, it felt like a sauna. I told her she was going going mad and that its not that cold. She just looked at me and smiled. In one ear, out of the other I sensed...😄 Oh well women are always right I guess....

A rather chilly 8c now. Finished my star gazing, now ready for a hot cuppa tea, and my bed. Not looking forward to Monday morning blues. But that will be off set, as I will be a proud daddy taking my youngest son to his first day at Reception tomorrow. Tissues and camera will be at the ready.... Goodnight all

Evening all. Been a mixed bag here this afternoon. Was up bright and early today, to clear blue skies, but the pavements cars etc were wet, go guess we had overnight some pretty heavy rain. This afternoon I decided to take the children to the local nature reserve. Started off fine, but dark clouds quickly developed, and have since then enjoyed a spell of sunshine and heavy showers. Seems to be clearing now, so will hopefully be able to get out in the garden later, and do some star gazing. Current temp is 14c. Feels pretty cool in the light breeze though.

I fully sympathise with you there mate. I was also out on the lash last night, and I'm still shaking now, and have a banging head 😵. I did try the hair of the dog earlier, much to Mrs LeighD's disgust, but the fumes of the alcohol made me feel pretty sick, so I decided to give it a miss... Weather wise I think it's been okay here every time I peered out of the window with shades on, it was bright sun. The only time that changed was around lunch time, when the heavens opened for 10 mins. The Mrs had the hump with me then, as I was unable to run out in the garden by her side to collect the washing. Instead I said 'its breezy it will dry soon' if looks could kill 😄. Have a great rest of the weekend guys

Last post from me tonight. Clear skies, which was good for star spotting, a slight breeze, and feels a lot cooler now. Good evening guys. PS. Pete your chips are too cheap... Haha -

Very technical JP. But in all honesty, with my very very limited knowledge of even trying to attempt to read fax charts, models etc i could of done a hell of a better job. Here goes 'very cloudy, with rain, heavy and also patchy at times. Feeling cooler' and I can also put some symbols in as well 💦💨. Hehehe -

Good evening cyber friends... Well we maxed out here at 28c today, and some very high cloud started appearing I knew it was game over. Not that I'm complaining though 😄. Woke up this morning, to what I like to call an autumn winter land, bring nice thick fog, then by lunchtime I was basking in summer wonder land.... Just been out for my nightly 10k run, and it feels very sticky and uncomfortable out there. Oh well got me waterproofs, and jumper ready for the morning..... Oh how I love the British weather, but not the midgets and gnats that have seemed to feasted off me whilst out running.. Current temp 24c. Have a great evening guys 👠-

Fog has completely lifted now, to reveal a cloudless and very sunny sky. Looking forward to my lunchtime walk. Temp on my weather app reads 19c. Not sure how accurate that is though :/ -

Yes defiantly the case. But I think we can still get very very reasonable temps even in mid October. My sons birthday is in mid Oct, and for the past 5 years (he is only 5) it's been very comfortable t-shirt and shorts weather. Gotta love the British weather 😄I think the cut off is when the clocks go back, and there is not enough daylight hours to keep the heat of the sun going. -

I'll be happy with high teens / low twenties. It's not so much the temp for me this time of year, but getting clear sunny skies and not the endless train of Atlantic systems moving across the country will please me no end 👠-

Thanks Martin. Yes it all went good thanks ðŸ‘. Just to add some weather content to it. I had to leave at 5.30am to get to Southwark for my 8am exam. It was pretty misty and felt very autumnal on the drive along the A13. I then dropped my car off and trained it the rest of the way. By this time it seemed to be brightening up, but once I returned to work in RM10, it was still very misty, and I got a tad excited of the prospects of the up coming autumn and winter. I was in my office for a couple of hours and went out for lunch at 12pm, and it was very very warm with clear blue skies, and a gleaming sun. The sun is starting to set now, and I can see the slightest of mist starting to form. Hope all is well with you Martin, and everyone else on here. ðŸ‘
