  1. Clear and cool here. No rain today, had the odd bright spell but typical autumn fare... Really hope this up coming winter season gets into gear soon. Even fog and the odd frost would be good.
  2. Clear and chilly here now. I can see my breath in the air haha
  3. A dry cool, and cloudy day here too. Felt pretty chilly leaving work without my coat (I left in the car)
  4. I'm really losing track of the weather conditions here. I leave work when it's dark, and I have a stupid corigated building in front of my window during the day. Hopefully when I leave this hell hole in February I have a better view. Anyway, just been running the rain has cleared, still cloudy and a tad chilly....
  5. Another dull day here. Quite misty when I left for London around 8 this morning. Stayed dry for most of the day, then come darkness the rain, heavy at that started falling. Stopped now. Just a few sprinkles in the air...
  6. Still grey and murky here. But starting to see the cloud breaking ever so slightly.
  7. Had no rain here this afternoon mate. The wind has now died down and it's starting to turn very clear and chilly.
  8. Why? I was looking forward to that.....Very mild and sunny day here today. Just got back from taking my son to a night of terror at the local nature reserve and it was very mild still.
  9. Yep... As said above, another cracking autumns day. It looks like after tomorrow's wet weather, temps will rise and more dry weather. Hope it lasts until Saturday night, as we are off to watch some fireworks...!
  10. Stunning start here today. Feels more like a late spring morning.
  11. That hour change has a big impact on us mere human beings though, and wildlife surely?
  12. Mild today with good sunny spells..... Now the clocks have gone back and it's dark by 5.30, my appitite is whetted for our first frost. Going by the models and other forecasts might have a bit of a wait.... But if Steve Murrs prenimalary thoughts are anything to go by, it might be worth the wait. Anyone who hasn't read it, it's a must. Great first thought based on the OPI, and other riding factors.
  13. This winter can't be any worse than last years if your looking for wintery precipitation. Wet sleet mixed in with rain would beat it... (For this location anyway) Grey, dry and mild sums up today perfectly...
  14. Breeze has now subsided and the sky is 98% covered in cloud. Feels the mildest it has all day....
  15. A nice dry, clam and bright day here too. Tad chilly.... Which is fine by me :-)
  16. Nick Sussex. Not Steve :-) even though Steve Sussex does have a good ring to it....ha
  17. I always re-read my posts....... Typing mistakes are easy on a phone....for me anyway.
  18. Far to early for that. Although many people start putting their winter forecasts out very soon. One point to make..... Winter 2010 wasn't on to many radars and we all know what happened. I just pray for not another repeat of last winter. Firstly it caused flooding and damage, and secondly I saw NO snow, not even sleet....
  19. It's been an okay day here today. The ground was wet when I awoke this morning. The school run was dry, bright, cool and breezy. I noticed during my lunch break though how much the wind had picked up. Stayed dry pretty much all day...... Then come 5 o clock we had a mega squall, really great to watch, which lasted 15 mins or so. Still windy and cool now. Hope you all stayed out of harms way, and none of your property was damaged....
