  1. I tip boiling water in the bins and bleach. That soon kills the dirty @&£"@@£. Don't mind the snails but just feel guilty when I tread on one in the dark. As been mentioned above. Been very mild today, and a lovely sunny morning. Cloudy when I left work though, but At least it's friday.
  2. At last the rain has now stopped. And as Daniel mentioned, feeling quite mild.
  3. Good to see you posting again JP. I've missed your posts. Hope your okay mate.... Grey, mildish and very wet once this afternoon got going.
  4. Very quiet on here.... Been a murky day here today, followed by sporadic heavy showers. Last one passed through about 30 minutes ago.
  5. Rain eventually stopped here around 6pm. Light breeze and partly cloudy skies now. Off to centre parcs tomorrow for the a 4 day birthday treat for my 7 to be year old son. So hopefully the weather stays dry.
  6. Monsoon type rain here at the moment. Very dark skies, but no T&L as of yet...
  7. Wind really picked up since this morning. Just had a very lively shower.
  8. Nice bright and cool start today. What an improvement from yesterday.
  9. Pretty clear here now, breeze has dropped, and it felt pleasant during my run tonight. Unlucky captain haha. I've been caught out like that many a time. Just got to roll with it.
  10. How about a mini heatwave? LOL Brightend up nicely this afternoon, after this mornings deluge.
  11. Moderate to heavy rain falling now. That's going to make for a wet and misrible school run......
  12. Very much doubt a ground frost in the SE tonight. Will be very chilly though!
  13. Must of been the same mini squall that affected here a while back? Yep. Clear blue skies here also Jax. I do prefer the cooler nights though, I must confess.
  14. Yes. Just had a heavy shower on my way home from work. With the sun shining bright, and the glare off the wet road, it made for quite tricky conditions. And yes, we had a big bold rainbow here too.
  15. Heavy rain overnight. But heard no thunder. Nice clear skies and a fresh start to the morning.
  16. Good post. It does emuse me when people start writing off a season. To my memory 2010 wasn't forecast to well either. Then we know what happened...
  17. Oh com'on Lasie (get a grip). All that sleep deprivation is playing on your reasoning.... We have just entered autumn.... Ha Ha
  18. Not to bad this evening in SW Essex Jax. The breeze has dropped somewhat and is not to bad out. still dry also... Made for a comfortable and fast run. I really feel for you lot up north.... Haha ;-)
  19. Well well well, I must of been in a lucky location(s) today. Seen next to no rain, yes a bit breezy and cool, but by the sounds of it other locations had a horrible wet day. I've been all over the place today. London City, SE london, back home in Rm16, then unfortunately at work in Tilbury. Oh well, we lose some and we win some. Looks like I was lucky today Hope I'm not this fortunate when it comes to snow this winter (if we receive any) Hey Lasie - did you look at the Barbour coats?
  20. An afternoon of rain has now turned into lovely blue and sunny skies. Shame about the temp brrrrrr
  21. Cloudy, breezy and cooler here. Looks like the rain isn't far off!
