    Yes we had a powercut too. Fingers crossed for a repeat tonight. Just had a liquid lunch, and sitting in that beer garden it felt like high summer.

    Wow wow wow. What a storm here last night. Torrential rain, which i thought at one minute was going to break our windows :-) the thunder though is the most intense I have heard in years. Bright morning here, but feels very sultry, with a very fine mist in the air.

    Evening all A nice autumanal misty / foggy start today, albeit warm. As the day went on we had plenty of warm sunshine ( shame as I was chained to my desk working, ha). Left work at six, and with the setting sun the mist started forming again. Just been out running, and it's still warm but the mist seems to be subsiding some what.

    Evening Another nice day here. Not the wall to wall sunshine we have had over the past few days, but very plesent indeed... Clear skies now though, might take advantage of this and do some star gazing abit later.

    Evening - dry, cloudy and muggy sums up today weather perfectly here. Just been on my first post holiday run ( need to burn off all the beer and food I've endulged in over the last 2 weeks) I must say after being away in Spain for 2 weeks I can't believe how much the nights have started to draw in. The special season is fastly approaching. :-D

    Evening all. Landed back at sunny gatwick this afternoon after 2 glorious weeks of 30c temps in Ibiza. Must say the the weather today has been a breath of fresh air. Sunny, warm and a nice little breeze.

    Hi all We fly out to Ibiza on Saturday for two weeks.... Got an email from the tour operator today about the high probability of volcanic activity in Iceland, meaning air travel chaos due to possible volcanic ash. When did this last happen? I'll tell you - 2010! And we know what happened that winter..... Just saying :-)

    Mainly cloudy here again today with the odd brief shower. Much like yesterday, it felt warm when the sun broke through. Still feels mildish here now the wind after yesterday died down.

    When that sun is out, it feels nice and warm. Shame though, as the sunny spells are being outdone by the cloudy spells ATM. Anyway at least it is dry...
