    Thats why I never buy a paper. Just put the TV on, look at the iPad, smart phone or laptop. But the elderly or those with little technology confidence rely on the paper, and I really think it's wrong scaremongering like this to make money. Hay-ho off to bed now, need to be up early to get to the shops to buy myself a boat. LOL Goodnight people....

    I still think there are a lot of naive people who take gospel what the papers say, I know quite a few myself. As for the refund do it, Barbour coat are great.

    I bought a coat, where the lining (warm bit) can unzip. So I have the best of both worlds ;-)

    Wish I could say the same. But with 5 & 6 year old boys, things get pretty hairy after being stuck indoors for too long.... Haha. Unless it snows (which is way off at the moment) Or wind !? Ha

    Today has been a complete mish-mash. Wet this morning, then sunny, then cloudy. Also breezy. Felt warm in the sun, but decidedly chill in the cloud cover and breeze. Now it's completely clear.

    Yep. It was terrible, the worst winter in a very long time. I didn't see one flake.Luckily we went to a very cold place before Christmas for a mini holiday. So I got my snow fix there, otherwise I would of gone mad.....

    Nice day here today. Good periods of sun, but that little breeze and the odd cloud cover made it feel pretty nippy. Took my children to collect conkers this morning, and over the park it is evident and very pleasing on the eye to see the changes in leaf colour. With the sun beaming through the branches it made for some wonderful pictures. Shame I only had my phone with me, and the pictures I took done no justice.

    Morning all After reading the posts on here things now make more sense. We was walking home from the pub around 9 last night, and it looked like thick fog was forming. Anyway as I was approaching home, I saw two bright flashes (blue) in the sky. I assumed they were fireworks, but heard no bang. So it much of been lightening. Never in my life have I witnessed anything like this. Must be quite a rare accurance.

    Lovely day here. The sun has now turned into brightness with the high cloud. Still very warm. Off to our local with the family now, for a nice cold beer and some dinner. A perfect way to start the weekend.
