A dry day here today, albeit mostly cloudy with the odd sunny spell. Last night was nice and cool, and I even found myself waking up at 3am to pull the duvet over me. Go on holiday a week on Friday, so looking forward to hot days sitting by the pool and shivering at night due to the air con being to high :-D

Dry and warm here. Had a few heavy showers this afternoon, but nothing to write home about. Cloudy skies at the moment, hope it clears so I can see the persieds meteor shower later.

Scrapped the golf course this afternoon, for a game of top-golf in Chigwell. Got there and teed off at three. At around 3.45 torrential downpour a bit of thunder, but saw the most impressive cc lightening. Lasted for all of 10 minutes, but was good while it lasted, and gave me a few minutes to practice we rusty golf swing ;-)

Morning A markedly fresher feeling day today. Bright sunshine when I left this morning at 6.30, but the cloud seems to be bubbling up now, so has the breeze. Hopefully the rain will hold off today, I promised to take my children for a round of golf later this afternoon...

Oh well. Some torrential rain today, pretty strong gusts for this time of year, some T&L, and now blue skies and sunny. You have to love the English weather :-)) anyone would think its April showers...

well if that was the squall, it is fading very rapidly. Just a few gusts and moderate rain for about 3 minutes

Looks like squall is about to hit here soon. A distant rumble of thunder, and very dark clouds moving in from the horizon to the west!

Yes mate you was right, I was too quick off the blocks with that one :-) Thinks is cleared away now. If we do get anymore rain it should blow through pretty quick in this stiff breeze.

Mostly cloudy, but with the odd sunny spell. Feel pretty humid, and the breeze has really picked up.

Yes, very heavy rain here also. We've had a few torrential down pours throughout the day, but now it's constant and been going on for a while. Looking forward to going to bed soon, and listening to the rain beat against the window.

Another good day here. After the early rain cleared it's been bright and a bit breezy, but still managed to keep the warmth.

Yes saw that too. It's really sad when English heritage goes up in smoke, and ruin a lot of livelihoods. To keep on topic, another great day here, not as hot as previous days, but I will take it for the rest of summer....

Raining here, and a very welcome cool breeze. Will hopefully get a better nights sleep tonight. Last night was terrible.

No rain of note since the storm around 1pm here. Feel very muggy and humid though with pretty much 100% cloud cover. Good for you. Enjoy the BBQ :-)

Seems to of passed now. Was quite good. Bit of thunder a few flashes of lightening and flash flooding on the roads. What better way to spend my lunch hour :-) Yes - just before the storm hit here it got very very gusty....
