  4. I was fast off at the time TM... So no idea if i got sleet here in my neck of the woods. I obseved sleet over Rowsley Bar on Saturday tho.

  6. Yes Frosty, A very traditional outlook from the chart's with plenty of PM air encroaching the UK at times giving sleet and snow over the hills from the Pennines North. We had our first sleet here yesterday. And all but the South retaining just below average temps, only a few weeks left now until winter proper takes hold.
  7. Back Corries are looking well on Nevis Range, With more snow forecast later tonight down to 200/300m and during the week.
  8. Today marks a space weather anniversary. The strongest detected solar flare in recorded history was observed ten years ago. The X28+ mega flare took place around historical sunspot 486. Because the sunspot was facing away from Earth, the impact on our planet was minimal. Attached is a short video that was put together two years ago detailing the explosion.   15. Frosty only post's what the charts are showing at any given time. That has always been the case.
  16. Im with TM on this, living at over a 1000ft above sea level and only 5 mls from Buxton i pretty much get the same conditions. Temps are probably cooler here and better snow depths as more rural than Buxton town and not as sheltered.
