Agreed was deep down hoping for a few flakes or 2 but it looks like this could continue for a while now further west and that band of heavier ppn could give us a hit in a few hours hopefully.

Snow covered all surfaces heavier snow will hit us in early hrs just crossing Bristol channel.
i like the sound of that like this then heavier early hours happy days, might set an alarm for early hours.

All surfaces covered now too, 0.7C temperature is worrying because it will start to thaw again, big flakes but seems quite wet
where are you in swansea, 50p flakes here!?
Im top of clase by dvla as i posted flakes are getting bigger!, how long is this going to last?, maybe it will pivot further west lol

Even if i dont get any settling snow id b happy to see some of these massive flakes people have reported never really seen proper huge fluffy flakes.

It melted earlier but coming down thick and fast now, looking at radar it wont last long and become lighter and patchy again, temp also not good for settling now at 0.9C
can see radar now and i think it looks like getting lighter then heavier again?, see what happens though and latest nae looks good for further west.

Can see it getting lighter here soon. Well, it can't keep this intensity up or there will be some serious trouble. Its almost whiteout! Not even joking!

Still snowing here, settling nicely on top of car which has given a nice dusting, but not on other surfaces, cannot tell if it helping lying snow build or is thawing it.
I was thinking this also, im on mobile now and cant see radar can we expect any heavier bursts this far west ? Just one heavy shower will do.

Sorry Gav - didn't mean to come over like that - we all know how frustrating it is looking East and seeing it pile up - just enjoying it while we got it and its still humping down outside- another fun morning watching the roads ahead I think. Fingers crossed it drifts West for you guys - will be the last for a while I think - having saidf that we've still got another 6 weeks of deep winter to come so fingers crossed.
Didnt mean anything by it just enjoy it, wish i was there thats all when people have snow you generally just want more and more lol

It's really nasty here at the moment. Snow is absolutely pelting down. Looking on A465 Tredegar webcam, the road is looking very dodgy!
Could we have a link please or some pictures just so i can get my snow fix had my hopes up for a bit

looking at the radar it seems like it cant go any further west, the ppn is fizzling out on its western edge and going back sw ?

So... its snowing in Dunvant, snowing in Mumbles, snowing in Craig Cefn Parc, snowing in Sketty and probably snowing in tycoch (JackOne can you update please). .....even snowing in Bagan and Port talbot. I recon the council have spent all the monies building a snow shield from Morriston to Manselton. Bone dry here at the mo

probably 6-8 Inches Friday another 4-6 Inches last night and now the latest batch is shaping up - no idea yet but I'm hoping for another 5 Inches tonight - best part of a foot and a half undrifted snow in the last week - awesome
Your bragging now send some west please best i get is about 8 inches never seem to get a foot or more here not in my life any way

I got a bag full of straws left over from xmas was thinking of going to the severn bridge and blowing at the clouds west ward think it might work?......No snow in my part of swansea yet up penlan area.

He jus has passion for the weather and warns people maybe ott but thats andy and i love it you dont have to take what he says as gospel do you?, and you dont have to call him wacky and insane i dont think this forum would have the same humour that is needed sometimes without him. Back to the weather jus woke to a surprise whiteout!! looking at radar the heavy stuff is jus reaching here well happy dont think im going back to sleep now
