W COUNTRY High uncertainty tomorrow. Hopefully most of our areas stay snow-free until later tomorrow eve, when it spreads NE fairly rapidly.

Of course by his area, he means SW England/West Country area.
Is this system moving quicker than expected then as i thought this system was likely to move east then west and stall or is that wishful thinking, im sure someone on here said this might happen.

i am at my mothers in neath at the moment and my dad old thermometer is showing around 0.5c dont know how accurate that is mind lol, fascinating watching the system on radar with much anticipation, heres hoping at least someone gets some snow
, i dont know how to access nae or ppn charts when is it due or due at all to hit land? debating whether to stay up again -
i completely agree too just wanted to make a point the mods can deal with the rest, back to the weather is the system showing on rain today to our sw the system that is meant to be bringing us the chance of snow, seems complicated just watching it last few frames to be onest
if it is the actual system. -
I think your the only one living in a fantasy and u dont even make sense your going to be called a troll with posts like that, post your views but critising others is not on and people are entitled to them. I for one know of the more experienced posters on here and try to understand what they say and learn and they seem to have more posts than you.
p.s: if you dont like it here and we make you cringe dont even bother posting simple as that.

does any one think some of this system is coming further west than predicted ? looks to me from looking at rain today that it may come over here? Might be wrong just want to know others views on this have very very light snizzle now.

i actually agree from a complete novice point of view that doesnt like like going any further north, maybe a surprise in store but more than likely will suddenly change.

been a rather strange day here today, been cloudy all day and looks like its going to snow but hasnt, slight thaw and icy out there, hoping for some more upgrades of snow here in wales over the next few days.

sorry to go off subject all but my mate on here Foggybrynna has just become a dad 10 mins ago, his wife just gave birth to a baby boy, congrats micky (Foggybrynna) even you had snow today ha ha (private joke) be nice if you could all keep the snow away until Monday and then blow it all down to brynna as No one loves snow more than Micky and he deserves a good dumping so he can stay in and watch it with his new born son.
congratulations, we will order a dumping for monday night for all of wales then. Steady light snow here still

BLIZZARDS flakes as big as 2inch round :-o :-o
I love those huge flakes when you look up into the sky its like giant cotton balls, Mostly fine flakes part from a brief period of bigger flakes here today

Its drifting more than anything, doesnt stick a lot to the cars as it get blown away instantly. On top of walls in the garden table etc iv measured a foot.and around 2ft in drifts in some places, didnt expect this much. Where bout are u? And whats your accums?
I havnt measured but on my table out back i would say around 6 inches, maybe a bit more maybe less with more in some drifts, im near one of the higher parts in swansea, would love to have a foot of snow never witnessed anything like that, but im sure i witnessed near blizzard conditions last night which was a shock and witnessing the rain turning to heavy snow in the early hours was epic.

Still hammering down here never seen such thing opened the door then to get some beers from outside, all of it came into the house lol. 12hrs non stop and still goin strong wohoooo!!!!
Wish i was there, that sounds impressive as long as you got the beers lol, what sort of accumulations do you have?

Wow, that band of showers moving up the Bristol Channel is really intensifying. Looks like Swansea is in the firing line. Very slow moving though. They'll take another two hours or more to reach southeast Wales at this rate.
I hope your right im so greedy when it comes to snow haha, always looking for the next dumping, looking good on the radar for more snow for some and as some already have.

Not seen snow like this for my area. Radar shows prec standstill over my area.. stuck in talysarn and theres about 7-8 inches and drifts up to 3ft this is nuts and im stranded in a pub with no buses.taxis, or roads clear for moving..
sounds like a good place to be stranded?, all jokes aside hope you can get home safe, hoping for some more showers tonight, when does any one think our next chances will be i thought sunday but that seems like an eastern half of the country event?.

coming down well again here now thicker flakes, looks like some hefty showers coming in as well hopefully on and off like this all day will do me, Not as good as 2010 and i would agree with jackone around 4-6 inches on ground with more in drifts hard to say exact because of the wind.

well guys im happy as others have said my first blizzard, just hope it starts to stick, was pretty much bang on from met fair play even if we dont see the acumulations im sure others will and i hope it gets more intense haha good luck to all, hopefully some white scenes and pics from many in the morning, going try get some sleep now.
