    Norway looks more unsettled but remains colder than normal according to GEFS. Perhaps a return to a Scandi high by Xmas ?

    The 0z run shows a return to average conditions after this dry cold spell.

    It looks pretty dry in both the Met Office and BBC websites for now!

    The spikes and warmer uppers have pretty much gone from the 12z run. So looks like mostly dry conditions from this cold spell unfortunately.

    Still a few spikes showing on the 6z run for this week, let’s see if these are gone as the low is pushed South on all the runs.

    West is best! The uppers must be somewhat moderated further East and also lower ground.

    It does look colder but it’s also 3 hrs later though than the 6z.

    Nope sadly. The low is too far North - it needs to be going through the Bay of Biscay to deliver for Southern regions marginally.

    Not great for the Thames surroundings at all unsurprisingly! That’s still rubbish for the Thames plains!

    Not sure what charts the Met Office is using as it’s showing a Westerly for Friday! Also they’ve dropped the snowfall moving in from the South from their update today
