  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma_city#Climate This minus the scary tornadoes!
  2. At least they get a fair amount of snow and is sunnier than Faroe Islands, I can't think of a climate any more horrible than the Faroe islands, I suppose really cold places like Vostok may be worse.
  3. Cooler today but thankfully still 21.8C so feels allright, sunny now from cloudy earlier on so the warm feel continues.
  4. I love your optimism and I'm remaining positive too but the heat next week isn't nailed on, we need a trend on this in the following runs to be more sure, however there is plenty of reason to be positive if your into heat for once.
  5. Feels nice and humid outside with the cloud but a dissapointing day in terms of storms , not even any rain.
  6. GFS FI is warm and that's the second time it's shown an Azores High trying to re-build over us, still too far out take too seriously though, the model watching over the last few days has been fascinating the way it has backtracked.
  7. Back from a hot Dorking where is was 31.6C at one point, still very warm back home and a lovely day.
  8. Absolute bliss, 24.0C with a humidex of 29C, feel so nice out there doesn't get much better, July 2013 is turning into a classic summer month here along with August 1997, July 1999, August 2003, July 2006, all we need now is the storms, but this week they could well happen.
  9. Temperatures holding up very well tonight, still 27.0C, gonna be a warm night.
  10. Stunning day again, really does feel like being in central/southern France, 28.4C and feeling hot.
  11. Clear skies and 26.1C, feeling very warm and pleasant, back to very warm/hot again in the next few days after a cooler blip yesterday (23.6C).
  12. It shouldn't be too cold though thankfully, not 2007-2012 cold anyway, although I'm gonna miss this lovely heat. early next week looks good though.
  13. 22C still after a stunning day, looking good tomorrow as well, good times.
  14. Temperature risen in the last hour, back up to 27.5C after being 26-27C from 3-5pm, max today was 28.6C.
  15. Not even sure what to make of latest GFS, it's an upgrade for next week's heat in many ways but very messy thereafter to be fair it's a pretty difficult situation to predict, more runs needed to see what pans out post 102h.
  16. Temperature just keeps on soaring up, now 28.6C, hot day out there.
  17. It is accurate I have two weather stations (both in the shade) which are at 28C, a ENE wind has set up meaning highs of 28-29C all over sussex, all other stations in the area I've looked at also indicate about 28C but yes unlikely to get above that
  18. Currently 28.0C, feeling genuinely hot out there and my highest temperature so far this year, lovely day.
  19. Beautiful here today and the highest temperature since July 2nd 2009, 27.7C.
  20. 26.1C here, this week is warmer than last week so far, especially the nights.
  21. What is interesting is that even when the breakdown comes around the 27th July according to the latest GFS, warmer air is determined to push up from the south afterwards, although I personally think it's too good to be true, and expect a cooler august, Bristol Boy and some other members may be onto something about the warm weather re-loading after a short cooler period, either way, 2013 is currently acting nothing like the pattern of the previous 6 summers.
  22. These aren't usually accurate but would be truly epic if it happened.
