    I'm 1 mile west of Hove and with little elevation but we have at least 7-8cms, that new report must be incorrect or out of date.

    Precipitation seems to be moving out north it would seem, perhaps more to come, grass gone here now and getting quite deep, trains will be bad tomorrow. .

    The other Brightonian's might be serious about the 10cm, just checked and it's much deeper than before in many places, certainly probably level with the mid January event this year, Incredible.

    Slowing down but still blowing around at times, and certainly left a very decent covering, also -2.1C so it's very cold for march.

    It has gotten alot snowier since my last update, heavy steady fine powder snow with strong blizzard like winds as times, and everything, including roads and pavements have a good covering, getting thicker and thicker!

    Lovely great out there this morning, our first official snow in March since 2008 and with decent dusting at that, temperature -0.1C so no surprise it's settled.

    Looks like for this location tommorrow evening looks like the most interesting time around here for snow, although I'm staying around for check out what the channel is up to, temperature 1.7C.

    That chart looks wrong, all that snow on French channel coast, while south coast gets nothing, I think it'll be more shared around than that. C'est faux.

    Met Office weather warning on the South Coast, won't the snow be mostly light though, or will ocassional heavier bursts cause some accumulations.

    Amazing how cold those latest models are further south, even Northern Spain looks pretty cold especially for mid-march.

    Although the weather has been zzz all week here, at least recently there hasn't been rain allowing the ground to dry up.

    It's a shame there's so much cloud really, there is real potential under that deep cold but the flow is too slack and overcast for frosty nights, been the same with the other 2 cold spells, too much cloud.

    Snowed a little from time to time, but nothing heavy enough to settle, as forecasted, shame that things aren't more connective because the air over us is seriously cold.

    Snow could continue to threaten a few times hopefully if the radar is right, a few more falls to come here I think, temperature 0.8C.

    Had a light snow shower, a light dusting from that, temperature dropped to 1.5C.
