  1. Be aware that if a station reports hourly or less that the wunderground "magic" adds up the cumulative rainfall, so if the cumulative at 8am is 1mm and at 9am is still 1mm, it reports as 2mm
  2. You've really got to laugh http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/364613/364613
  3. Temperature here has just reached the dizzying heights of 0.6c, that's the warmest it's been since 5pm last night
  4. Could it be anthrogenic (sp?) snow, had some here in Norfolk earlier Sadly, for those wishing for extreme cold and snow the charts are less likely to flip in this type of situation than when they were showing the easterly.
  5. Dry air so much of the precipitation on the radar didn't actually reach the ground
  6. It was seen in multiple locations all over the UK, have a look on meteor watch.org. Definitely a very bright meteor
  7. WINTER's OVER- temperature has shot up 4c in last two hours, now only -5.9 lol
  8. Nope, the flow is turning NW and mixing out the very cold air
  9. Sounds a bit like diamond dust, only ever seen that in Canada
  10. Been snowing continuously now for four hours, about a further 3cm, very "sticky"
  11. Radar is picking up moisture which is evaporating before it gets to the ground.
  12. May have reached our minimum now here. DP, humidity and temp slowly rising.
  13. Sacre bleu! Tres tres froid pour Paris n'est ce pas
  14. Temps and dew now slightly on the rise in East Anglia as the cloud begins to drift in off the north sea
  15. Just to put a dampner on things - the showers over the Wash at the moment are of rain (cold rain - but rain!)
  16. ?Raining? - Brilliant sunshine and blue skies just down the road - nothing on radar or sat pic
  17. . Anthony, those verbatim quotes from Accuweather are for the storm system effects over France and Germany. You must make sure of your facts before you start scaring people. They state quite clearly that it will hardly touch the S. Coast. the link you posted was to a storm in Omaha 3 years ago. I've seen some of the less experienced people on here taking your posts as gospel and you've scared them. Please will you stop doing it.
  18. Would you mind explaining where you are getting your information from?
