  1. Love your comment re "thawing" - here between Hunstanton and Kings Lynn we have had ice on the non-main roads since 17th December, except for 2 days. No thawing going on here I'm afraid. Has been snowing on and off for 6 hours - King's Lynn totally gridlocked for the third day running and A149 does not appear to have been gritted. What a difference a few miles makes.
  2. Very hard not to rise to the bait-maybe she has a little microclimate bubble right on the beach-think I might pop over there later-lol Now where's the ignore button gone then.
  3. Now I know you're winding people up http://www.rnsycmarina.com/weather.php It's 4 here in NW Norfolk with a stiff breeze
  4. Havent noticed it myself, but I suppose it could be fog
  5. The Wash streamer certainly did it's bit - level 5" and more still to come. Just to the south round Norwich not much at all. Just can't see the end of the streamer.
  6. A col in all its glory http://www.xcweather.co.uk/
  7. Beautiful - you are a fantastic photographer - do you do it for aliving?
  8. Beautiful pictures Neil - and those of the bees - did I see a passion flower in the insects thread?
  9. So am I - had some heavy rain and thunder about 4.00pm. Now been raining for about an hour but temperature down to 12 - guess that will inhibit any further convection. Looks like the worst of it is further south in the county at the mo.
  10. Totally amazing - the best lightning shots I've ever seen
  11. Couldn't agree more - it's absolutely fantastic and has just hit 19.8 here (.2 to go) but don't think it will get any higher as cloud is now rolling in. We'll see temps dropping off now. Was very humid earlier but humidity is now dropping off a bit.
  12. Good luck all - maybe next year - it's something I've always wanted to do - bit worried about the LIVER streaming Paul.
  13. It got caught up in the postman's elastic band!!! -_-
  14. We had three beautiful little siskins visit our nijer feeder on Saturday - so tiny. We normally get greenfinch, goldfinch, chaffinch, blue tit and great tit - alongside vast numbers of woodpigeons!
  15. Possibly a silly question but could this cause El Nino conditions - it surely must warm the Pacific?
  16. http://www.wetterzentrale.de/archive/ra/19...00219540609.gif Not a brilliant June day - I'm not too proud to show my age!
  17. I live in an area where there is a lot of military aircraft activity - have seen this before when a Tornado (not a mini-tornado - heh heh) comes over and then turns and climbs fast.
  18. Looks from the radar that the rain band is splitting in two - one going north, one going east. At the moment we're appearing to be in the middle - was it forecasted like this?
  19. Has been snowing constantly since 3.30pm. Have now got a level 4". Main A149 is a disaster! Just starting to peter out according to the radar. Absolutely picture postcard in the garden - trees covered in snow.
  20. Brilliant Paul - a fascinating read - this should be put in the guides for posterity.
  21. Unfortunately - all I get is a blank page and a note telling me that i might not be able to see it. Is there a text version?
  22. Didn't you used to live in Kings Lynn ? You should have been in Lynn last Thursday -4"!
