No more here, just lovely cold bright sun. I've turned the heating up and am pretending it's summer in Provence.

Once again, nice weather doon here, Some showers but more sun. Was about 6 first thing this morning in the car.

Where can I watch the skiing on tv without having fancy Sky chanels? Not watched it for years and used to love it.

Was wet here but not as bad as expected, sun even came oot in the afternoon. Heard Hawick just escaped flooding but not heard yet how Newcastleton got on, husband went out a walk wi his pal and says the Teviot looks very dangerous, Off to catch up on fb now and hope none of the wee places got hit. Seems to be dry here now but very windy.wind roaring in the trees behind me. Not desperately cold - no frost.

Well after the whole winter with nothing, we woke up to lovely sparkly frozen snaw. Just melted now, but husband is away up to Edinburgh with his pal in their ancient Corsa so I hope the roads up there aren't too bad

No change here at all, lying snow from a week ago still lying and still frozen. Am still pouring warm water in the birdbath every morning and the wee blackie is still taking his big messy bath in it. They like digestive biscuits doon here, far posher than the birds in the last hoose

HC we've been more or less stuck in for a week, husband ventured out once but its very hard walking. And I think the cooncils are cuttingback on grit and gritters whenever possible because the last two winters we'vebeenhere, this village got very good snow clearing. Not this year, and lots of folk moaning on Borders fb pages. Was still deep frozen yesterday but I dono what its doin today cos I haven't had enough coffee to make me go and look.

Snow frozen solid in ruts so we havent gone out at all. Gritter just came up the cul de sac now so might get out tomorrow. To be -6 tonight. Keeping the heating on, not goin to freeze my ass off for any tory govt
