  1. Could this be the start of a recurring pattern as we move toward winter ?
  2. I would reason (unscientific mind ) that nature is very good at balance no matter how extreme in this current age, the longer this mild goes on the more likely that the winter will come good. like is say not at all scientific but looking at the odds I feel reasonably optimistic. LO
  3. Just woke up to one hell of a crack of thunder and lightning currently moving through my area. Steady rainfall too.
  4. Wasn’t on tik tok was on X (twitter) blimey anyway don’t shoot the messenger just put it up as I thought it was an interesting if not accurate interpretation and I’m not endorsing the view. However like is said after the unprecedented goings on across the globe it’s not within the realms of possibility that such an event could happen in the future.
  5. I can’t keep away humidity has massively increased from 68% to 95% (+ 13%) temp has dropped to 22oC from 26oC (- 4oC) from last update
  6. Last one from me unless something pops up again later but here is the thing, the Irony after two hours of full on apocalyptic weather it’s now sunny warm and the ice cream van is in the village doing the rounds, only in the uk can this be a thing current temp 26oC stable humidity 68% + 3% on last update enjoy your action my fellow storm enthusiasts
  7. Fair enough but as a possibility no matter how small it was quite interesting nevertheless. knowing what weird stuff has gone on this year including the unprecedented spell we are in I discount nothing as a possibility no matter how small a chance, I’d go as far to say that with global warming and the like it may just may become a possibility that such an event may happen in the near future a kind of super storm so to say. you just never know in these uncertain times
  8. Looks like that’s it for us today the forecast for our area was pretty accurate time wise today by the agencies, the storm is still rumbling away to my NE possibly around the Spilsby area at a guess. still feels very close temp 26oC - 1oC from last update humidity 65% + 2% from last update
  9. I saw it on the last satellite image but no reports yet of anything untoward that happened as a result
  10. Intense rain continues cg & cc plenty of noise but brightening from my south, humidity is very much noticeable despite the light breeze. 64% + 1% on last update temp stable at 27oC
  11. Update intense rain here cg, noise and slight breeze current temp 27oC stable humidity 63% + 1% on last update
  12. Round two underway the cell on this radar to my south (I’m the red dot) looks like a squall line forming from se to nw
  13. Yep indeed that’s true, apparently more funnel clouds and tornados per square mile than america, just many are small brief affairs no one really notices them
  14. All calmed down here now a lull you could say as I see more developments in the Peterborough area (almost a nursery for home grown stuff that heads my way) current temp 27oC drop of 1oC humidity 62% rise of 2%
  15. So the storm has eased a tad temp has risen from 23oC to 28oC with the local humidity at 60%. It’s extremely muggy here
  16. With what looks like and out draft to the south of the cell and the button in the Center it looks like a hurricane
  17. Yep it’s getting intense now temps dropped from 29oC to 23oC in a matter of minutes. No lie it’s as black as your hat here, the satellite shows that top almost sitting over the entire county
  18. Currently seeing a moderate storm over me at the moment, cg strikes plenty of noise also moderate rain, getting darker by the moment getting louder by the moment.
  19. The Peterborough storm cell is very slow moving on the radar, moving up from Bedfordshire toward Lincolnshire. what’s interesting is the intensity of its core, purples and grey it would be of interest to see if anyone has spotted any funnel cloud activity down there. any forum members in the south Peterborough area ? Would love a sitrep Lo
  20. Posted up a link to a vid on X, if this guys opinion becomes reality then the eastern seaboard is in for a rough time, more pressing is what happens after once the conjoined storms catch up with the remnants of Franklin and track across the Atlantic.
  21. The lower temp I would guess would be near the mark as we are tipped to be at 19oC around 3am
