  1. Via twitter or X whatever it’s called these days a view from mr peacock
  2. The first one I saw was very wide and looked strong in core, I would have bet that it was on its way to the ground, it was awesome in structure and I’ve never seen a funnel so large however it did dissipate fairly quickly however the images I posted of the funnel at north kyme could have been part of that same rotation and possibly the rebuild and were to my east The ones I took images of where in the same system but over to the west.
  3. This was the radar image when we had all those funnel clouds around 4.30, there was four in total , images I’ve already posted earlier. if you zoom in you can see my location red dot
  4. It’s really unstable in my area, once the front had moved through it looked done and dusted however we have more building movement from my west unexpectedly so could have more fun and games again pretty soon
  5. These images are from twitter posted by Lincs FM from a motorist in North Kyme, North of the Location I took my images and shows another funnel cloud so four all in all in my area this afternoon.
  6. Afternoon all so coming home from work in Sleaford and on my way to Anwick saw the biggest funnel cloud I’ve ever seen, you do see them a lot in Lincolnshire. Any way I was desperately looking to pull over safely to take a picture and parked at the local shop and run up the road to where I could get a good image, however that one dissipated before I could get a good spot. attached is a video of another one roughly over Ewerby and a picture, then I decided to go back to my van an spotted another one so climbed onto the roof of my van to get a picture that’s the last image. im just gutted I didn’t get a pic of the first one it was a beast, so three funnel clouds and apocalyptic rain once I got home. all very exciting LO IMG_0541.mov IMG_0541.mov
  7. Reminds me of the part in the day after tomorrow when you see the satellite image of the storms across the earth.
  8. Interesting again from Mr Peacock https://twitter.com/peacockreports/status/1681218912510255107?s=46&t=FDRXB-PdoXSULLPenJr_eA
  9. Evening all a crumb of comfort from James peacock, his analysis for next week. courtesy of twitter
  10. Well it’s bloody humid again shot back up to 78% and a temp of 23oC, heavy rain now, gave up in the garden now. LO
  11. Well, a bit disappointed really transient storms giving a few rumbles and some lightning, had some good downpours for the garden but looking at the radar looks like it’s the endgame for today, hopefully it will dry up pretty quickly so I can continue my outside chores LO
  12. Small storm pushed through, caught the edge of the Cell that is moving through Coningsby, heavy rain shower, thunder and CC lightening. current local temp now 23oC down from 26oC humidity picked back up from 52% back up to 60% after and early morning high of 80%.
  13. Heavy rain just started, still the main action is to my North East between Boston and Coningsby
  14. At last lightening and thunder, still no precipitation though.
  15. Current set up I’m the red dot, surrounded in activity alas that’s it it’s all around
  16. Radar appears to show a slight direction change as the storm front is now moving more northerly than northeasterly.
  17. Anyone in the Peterborough area give an update, looks more active and looks to move through my area in the next hour or so.
  18. We now have light rain here now but nothing untoward the more active cell is over to my East moving North.
  19. Storm cell currently in my area is a direct for me but travelling up with it to the East is a more active cell moving toward Coningsby I can hear plenty of booming
  20. Thunder more pronounced now and closer, still dry slight breeze has picked up and humidity has fallen back. No lightening as yet to report.
  21. So latest radar I’m the red dot and as you can see pretty active to my south east and south around spalding. a few rumbles heard in the distance
  22. We had one mid week, very heavy rain all be it brief, lots of surface water and the event was over pretty quickly
  23. Good morning unbelievably humid here in my location with 80% humidity and temps of 26oC, we have convection from my South East forming what looks like a squall line as the initial front moves NE. LO
  24. Good afternoon Squall line passing through my area, with imbedded thunder, very heavy rain but should push through quite quickly. LO
  25. I see a hidden agenda here, tell the public the weather will be rubbish and get the beach all to yourself LO
