    Seems like "Brian" is your bog standard autumn type weather. The fake news like the Daily Mail and Express have been having field days over "Brian". Roll on the -20c temps (daily express) and hurricanes (mail) for the winter.

    Thought it was going to be sunny here today but the cloud has rolled in. was very warm and sultry earlier. wind just started to pick up in the last 30 minutes expecting 40-50mph gusts through the afternoon and evening

    Aileen has got to be at least a category three hurricane, its done tremendous damage to the chair

    This has got to be the worst hurricane the uk has experienced since the last one which was probably sometime early this year, we get so many they don't stick in the mind!

    The Met Office has put Worthing just outside of the wind warning. The models suggest other wise.

    A heavy shower earlier but other than that don't know what all the fuss is about bring on the summer

    Because its cheaper lol. I'd certainly only book during Hurricane season, I'd take the risk, if it pays off I've saved a few bob. If it doesn't then I get to experience a hurricane ticking something off of the bucket list, and therefore killing two birds with one stone. Whether I make it out of the Caribbean alive in another matter.

    So when and where is this storm going to make landfall? And what category? seems to be meandering all over the place!

    Could have sworn I saw a lightning flash to the north or north west about 10-20 minutes ago.
