Ugh. Whatever. The models chop and change so much lately that I don't even look! Snow will probably arrive tomorrow night regardless. Your right though wednesday is now cold but it was mild the otherday. -
Better start one because snow is coming tomorrow night, so post your reports when it comes!

There will be. I don't care about lying snow! -
Well this is my forecast for Tuesday, and If that happens I am happy enough. And with -8/9c uppers I would expect quite a large number to see snow.

Winter 2013-2014 Discussion- Part 2

I just find it odd that this cold spell came out of the blue and then suddenly enveloped into a watered down version. It just kind of seems a bit weird to me, number 1 for it to come out of nowhere and number 2 to almost disappear again. I'm thinking it might be a signal for December. -
Well I wasn't really counting the south of England thats why I said 'most areas'. Which will include: NI, Scotland, North of England and ROI. Heavy snow symbol for me at 6pm tomorrow. TBH the cold spell is nowhere near what it could be but its better than being 10c and raining all the time, at least we will see some snow. Think its gonna be a shock to the system here anyway, down for a 3c max on Tuesday.

Theres no point in looking at them because they change dramatically from run to run. Sure Wednesday had -2c uppers over us on the 0z run now it has -6c uppers. -

An update of tomorrows conditions at 6pm. It would appear as per the met office that this will be the time for precipitation turnover. -

Warning for Ice is out now for NI and Scotland for Monday and Tuesday. It includes NW England too but I can't see them getting much snow even if it does go to low levels. -

The uppers are too warm today for even sleet as the upper air temp is about +2c right now. The -5c uppers arrive at 9am tomorrow so maybe then sleet is possible, but i'd say 3pm is when the snow will arrive. Met office have a warning for ICE out tomorrow and Tuesday with accumulations above 200m (why is it always that number?) -

Forecast is upgraded and i'm down for a 3c max and snow Tuesday. Besides Wednesday my max temp does not exceed 4c next week, so it will be very cold. -

Well its only 24 hours away so not much to wait. The Portrush forecast is a max of 6c and mines is a max of 3c, but the snow symbol is up for my area. Either way besides Wednesday it looks like being a cold week with temps getting no higher than 4c everyday with -2/3c mins. -

No you will see snow on Tuesday at some point. Just ignore the met office, every single model gives us snow on Tuesday. Don't know what they're playing at with that rain. -

Well the Forecast is still the same, although it has dropped from 5c to 4c so I suppose that is a plus. All I care about now is seeing snowflakes, I was expecting hard frosts and a bit of a snowcover but it has been reduced to crap now. I suppose the only positive is that it will be frosty every single night from Wednesday onwards. -
