  6. ECM ensemble for the first week of April Next week won't be as cold as it has been but it will be a while yet before temperatures get above average
  7. t168 of ECM is determined to keep it cold The uppers are miles apart from those of GFS at the same time
  8. t120 from ECM shows little change so far t144 has a huge difference in uppers between GFS and ECM ECM left GFS right
  9. 12z ensembles show a slow but steady rise over the next 2 weeks Precipitation remains very low An good ending to the 12z ensembles with them going in the right direction
  10. Some tentative hints in FI that this stubborn northern blocking could shift The high drifts over the UK and forces that deep low in the Atlantic north 24 hours later that low continues north Two days later the northern blocking reduces and the Azores ridges up towards the south of the UK 24 hours later the northern blocking has gone and the Azores remains closer to the UK
  11. Yeah and non of it has stuck for a great length of time could it be too cold in the north sea perhaps? as some of the snow over the past 48hrs has been quite powdery at times
  12. I agree the chances of snow aint over but I can't see us getting anything of great significance now As has been consistent now for a number of days temperatures next week now look like they will moderate somewhat still below average but higher than of late Tuesday see's highs of 7c to 9c for England and wales 24 hours later we see a tropical 11c in the south west and parts of the south coast with 7c to 9c widely for England and wales Thursday only goes to 12 noon but looking at those temperature double figures would be reached in the south west and parts of the south coast again with 7c to 9c again widely England and wales Other than a bit of rain in the west early next week the bulk of the country will be bone dry Next weeks cloud cover to Friday At this stage we should see some sunshine next week along with some slightly milder temperatures. Next week is looking bone dry for this region to Friday

  14. Easter Sunday see's the last of the -8 uppers clearing away The south hits the dizzy heights of 7c Easter Monday starts with a widespread frost
  15. No today is the peak in these showers by tomorrow the wind will be a lot lighter as well I personally think time is up now for significant snow if it was going to happen then this was the week. Precipitation over the next 10 days is looking very low In the mean time

  22. UK Outlook for Thursday 11 Apr 2013 to Thursday 25 Apr 2013: Much of the UK is likely to start cold, with a fair amount of dry weather, although further snowfall is possible, mainly in the form of showers. Overnight frosts remain likely. More unsettled weather may already be affecting some areas at the start of the periods, and indications are that this will become more widespread towards the end of the month. As a result, rainfall amounts should return to near average for the time of year, with temperatures also become less cold generally.
