  1. Other than close to average in FI I can't offer you anything yet We are a good way of a Spanish plume yet Had more snow this morning that the past 2 days combined non is laying though just melting on impact

Cold central & north Rain to south Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 27th March 2013 Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling Rain to the south, but cold across central and northern areas Wednesday Staying bitterly cold across the northern half of Europe through Wednesday. There may be some snow flurries on the eastern coasts of the UK, These snow showers affecting northern France too. The Low Countries and Germany should be dry but cold with a stiff east wind. Staying dry through Poland too. Cold again in Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland. For Portugal and Spain there will be cloud and rain. The rain is going to be heavy at times across northern parts of Spain and Portugal with showers to the east. Cloud and some rain over southern Italy, but dry to the north. Showers or rain over Greece and Turkey, but milder here. For the far north of Europe it stays very cold. Dry across Denmark and the Baltic States. Cloud and rain affecting northern parts of Norway and Sweden as well as Finland. Here there will be sleet and snow, some heavy at times. Thursday A fair day in Portugal on Thursday with sunny spells. Much of Spain should be fair too, although there will be some cloud and rain in the east. More rain or showers over the Balearics, with some cloud affecting central Italy. Sunny spells and warm for Greece and much of Turkey. Cold in central Europe with some fog in France. Staying chilly for the Low Countries with the risk of some snow flurries. Broken cloud in Germany and cold too. Remaining cold through Poland, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. High pressure brings dry weather to Denmark with sunny spells here. More dry weather through the Baltic States as well as Finland.   3. A rinse and repeat of yesterday here a covering over light snow overnight before melting quickly once day light broke And like yesterday we have light snow showers but its not sticking

On a positive note this morning again temperatures should rise slightly from later this weekend for many with the south getting to the dizzy heights of 7c Easter Monday see's highs ranging from 6c to 8c for England and Wales Tuesday see's highs ranging from 5c to 9c Wednesday again see's highs ranging from 6c to 8c with maybe 9c somewhere Precipitation next week will be very low for all so the risk of snow obviously becomes extremely low as well Temperatures remain below normal but a slightly recovery will be welcomed by many

  10. Precipitation over the next 2 weeks is looking very low for all areas so other than showers off the north sea which could blow inland over the next 48 hours there won't be much snow around which to some will be welcome news and others not so This is backed by the models of both GFS and ECM

  12. 12z ensembles remain cold and dry tonight right through the first week of April
  13. The latest ECM monthly ensemble for Birmingham maintains the dry theme well into April Solid agreement from the GFS short London ensemble to keep temperatures and rainfall below average (this goes as far as April 3rd)

Yeah always difficult to predict these showers of the north sea though it can come to life at anytime in these situations, parts of NE Scotland look like there seeing some heavier precipitation currently Still what ever it does we aren't looking at anything significant maybe a cm or 2 at best before it melts during the day
  16. Well not too bad from GFS tonight at least we do see temperatures get to a day time low of around 6c for many next week in England and wales with some southern spots hitting 8c as early as Tuesday Then In FI we have the mild tease back again With a deep low tracking to the UK
