I'm not kidding when I say my main memory of my only trip to Eastbourne was being shocked at how many elderly people were farting really loudly, completely oblivious to it!

Sorry, I should have put 'saturated ground aside'. I of course would not wish for more rain when it could cause flooding. Was more thinking aloud in that I haven't seen a proper heavy downpour for ages.

Did that happen sometime in June 2005? I remember a week or so where I got completely soaked to the bone on the way home from school 4 days in a row. The school was only 5 minutes away.
