    Tom, just been informed by the neighbour (he's a weather nerd too) that our depth is just over 2cm on surfaces but much less on the pavement.

    Been snowing for 4 hours solid and zilch on the ground.

    Just started to snow lightly, cannot see it laying at all though, far too wet.

    I hear the very least the snow gods are accepting is £5million, 3 Lamborghinis, 1 yacht and bizarrely 3 free range eggs and some cinammon.

    Chucking it down here. I have decided to not wish for snow or expect it. That way if it does show up it will be a happy bonus.

    I'm feeling very 'glass half full' about this. If it doesn't snow again then at least I got one good snow day and I look forward to my favourite summer season with BBQs, warmth and smiles and then if it does snow again, that's always a bonus.

    Final snow depth of 8cm, although there was a lot more on my car. Why does more seem to gather on cars?

    FINALLY getting some of the heavier stuff with just a couple of hours to go!

    Bigger flakes now in amongst the tiny flakes.

    Still coming down here, light flakes, but intensity is good. Up to 6cm now.

    We normally get really good snow. We fared better than most in 2009/2010 and we normally get great snow, but the last two years, I dunno what has happened but it keeps missing us Just been for a walk out in it, about 2 inches deep now, so not snowman building levels but beuatiful to look at nonetheless.
