    FINALLY getting some of the heavier stuff with just a couple of hours to go!

    Bigger flakes now in amongst the tiny flakes.

    Still coming down here, light flakes, but intensity is good. Up to 6cm now.

    We normally get really good snow. We fared better than most in 2009/2010 and we normally get great snow, but the last two years, I dunno what has happened but it keeps missing us Just been for a walk out in it, about 2 inches deep now, so not snowman building levels but beuatiful to look at nonetheless.

    Innit tho? It seems the Medway shield has only given in slightly! Not enough to go sledging or build a decent snowman, it's like it's teasing us! Ahhhhh, if only we could have the legendary Thames streamer of 2009/2010.

    Just been out to measure. 5.5cm. It looks deeper than that. Sadly not deep enough for snowmen or proper snow play

    It seems that just up the road in dartford and Bexleyheath they are getting more snow than Medway, what is causing the major difference?

    Latest forecast on the BBC says about 3cm for our area. Meh. Still will be happy to see some snow.

    Thanks for the map Surrey. And Tom, my depth is 0cm. I'm not going to count a mild dusting as any depth whatsoever.

    Would anyone be so kind as to provide a map with the direction of travel for the system coming from France, or have I missed one?

    Just dandruff in tiny amounts on and off all day.

    Is it too late for me to play Tom? I'm in Strood/ Higham. Medway shield has held strong ovrrnight.

    Just been up the road to Gravesend and although their snow on the ground is light, it is is considerably much more than ours, with only a 4 mile difference. Dandruff snow here.

    It's seemingly an all weather shield if the last year is to go by, all weather that is other than bland gray, no weather days.
