    I would quite like to experience the storm named after myself. It would be annoying if it just went round me.

    As the name sake of this storm, may I request it only be known as Storm Lauren, if it is actually going to happen. I don't want to be named after a non-event!

    There's some very big fluffy clouds with very smooth rounded tops in the distance. Not sure what that means.

    It's the same well known phenomenon as washing your car on a clear, hot day only for it to suddenly cloud over and pour down the moment you finish washing. I call it the rain dance.

    I have cleaned the windows today, so this of course means it will blow a gale and monsoon at the weekend to mess them all up again.

    I think I have this now. I have a headache, aching joints, feel sick, hot one minute, cold the next. Just feel 'odd'.

    Well we have had absolutely nothing more than a shower, not even windy. I know it wasn't supposed to be much, but I though it's be more than that!

    According to the radar the heavy stuff is supposed to be above me right now. It's as dry as a bone!

    Yes I am currently at work in maidstone, but live in rochester.

    Blimey! Hope she is OK. Is this still on for hitting the SE? The winds are really getting violent here.

    Yes, you're right, quite clear line. This is going to sound stupid but....I thought tornadoes brought thunder and lightning with them, or does that only occur in warmer climates?

    Blimey that rainfall has got a lot harder. Hopefully it will hit fater i get home, i don't like driving in torrential rain.
