    Can someone translate please?

    For example, my ideal weather year would be: 7 months of warm to hot weather with several good thunderstorms thrown in, 3 months of spring/autumn weather (still pleasant outside no need for a jumper, but with some much needed rain after the 7 months of relative dryness), 1 month thunderstorm season and one month of winter with lots of snow and thundersnow. What would yours be and is there anywhere in the world where you ideal weather year exists?

    Boo winter! When i come to power winter shall last one month and in that month thee will be copious amounts of snow, thundersnow and Christmas and every Christmas will be white. So basically the best bits of winter rolled into one month. I am refusing to put the heating on until after my birthday.

    I refuse to do so until after my birthday although i am sorely tempted. Gone down a temperature drop of almost 15 degrees in 5 days.

    Somone of my Facebook has said it just snowed lightly near Cardiff, is she fibbing?

    Feels cooler today but still nice and warm. It feels like the weather is beginning to turn.

    Good lord it's hot today. It feels hotter than yesterday. I finished my book sunbathing yesterday, so will have to find something else to read later during more sunbathing.

    So weird to think that with this weather now it won't be long until we see the first frost.

    I'd go with Gravesend or Faversham, they always seem to be hotspots.

    And another glorious day. This afternoon will consist of sunbathing with a cool drink and a book and then a nice Greek Salad and Antipasto for dinner outside. I didn't get a holiday this year so this is the closest I'm going to get. Now if only this wonderful weather could go out with a tremndous all nighter thunderstorm, that really would be perfection.

    So what UV would you burn in. I'm in NW Kent. On a separate note, did you all know this hot weather we're having is the result of weather machines controlled by media corporations?

    It's been lovely. I've been sunbathing in my garden every afternoon with a cool drink and reading a book. If i close my eyes it's almost like I'm on holiday.

    People complain we've had a onions summer and then we get some sun and people complain it's too hot. Not on here but in general. What do they expect? A thermostat so they can adjust the heat for every person?

    Good thing I have inherited Mediterranean skin off my relatives then! I tan very easily. Either way it's nice to feel the sun on your skin.

    Thanks Harry and yes, I was referring to the Invent predicted rainfall. I found it useful too! Are they likely to bring it back?

    Two random questions...... What happened to the rainfall radar on MetO? You know the colour the sky goes when it's going to snow (that sort of odd grey-yellow colour). Why does it do that?

    But then I'd feel bad. You haven't had a storm and I have had one (all be it not very good).

    Can my membership grow back, if it's been so long since I've had a storm?
