Not going to moan if nothing happens this weekend had my share of storms already this year but would be nice to end my week off like I started it with a storm.

Thats a fair comment lassie i see where your coming from but to be fair lightning can strike anyone anywhere including the uk, The thing is storm enthusiasts like myself and others on the forum love storms the bigger the better we dont think about people may get struck by lightning or fires caused at the time its all about the lightning display the thunder getting pics videos etc and enjoying it, It isnt nice when you hear a storm has caused deaths or injuring people i do have sympathy for them but im always going to love storms not matter what and when the next one comes i'll be right out there in it, Also Mother Nature if you read this can we have some storms like in the 90's im not scared of them anymore cheers thanks.

Got my eye on those showers south west of me hoping they don't die out and slowly move towards me if they don't die and they do reach here it could be dark and a night time storm could be on here's hoping but after the champions league final please.

Bubbling up nicely here just hoping if it is going to kick off its later when its dark all storms this year have occurred in the day a night time storm is well over due.

A late report but had a storm here yesterday but it came just as left to go into town to meet friends so got soaked, was still going when i got to the waterfront so got to watch it for a bit before hitting the dance floor to show off my dancing skills lol.

Really like what was said in the BBC weather forecast thunder mentioned quite a few times for bank holiday weekend though that's along way off so be checking the charts etc over this coming week to keep up to date would be great to get some storms to start my 9 days off work.

No rain since this morning, clouds bubbled up went dark at times but nothing came from any of it which is a shame.

Started of dry and sunny this morning but now its grey cloud and raining hope this clears and the sun comes back out to maybe give us a chance of something thundery.

Rain this morning but since 10 o'clock ish it has stayed dry blue sky sun shining convection bubbling up feeling warm i think a trip to the pub is on doesnt look like its going to rain here anytime soon.

Showers/cells are moving in the wrong direction for me to see anything thundery, hazy sunshine now a few Tcu but i honestly dont see anything happening here expecting a dry evening/night but if something unexpected wants to happen great but i doubt it.

After a grey start to the day and a bit of rain this morning it has turned out to be a lovely day warm sunny and looking at the sky quite a bit of convection about what that means for the next few hours i dont know but has looked better today for storms than it has the last few days haven't had anything since Saturday, Nice enough to go sit in the beer garden with the lads and hope something happens later.

Torrential rain here now some hail in it to sky has that thundery look also, i have to go to the shop looks like i will be going by boat

What a horrible day been raining all day sometimes light and some moderate from the time i got up and still raining since finishing work got soaked walking home, haven't seen the sun all day and doesn't feel humid like yesterday, only just sat down and haven't had a look at anything yet but hoping something of interest might be on tonight or atleast a risk of something thundery.

No heavy rain here over the last few hours must be hit and miss just boring light rain and doesn't feel as humid, 90% sure nothing will happen here tonight so i be off to the land of nod, a little hope for tomorrow but will have to wait and see. Good luck

Finally finished work was nice to walk home in the rain with it feeling muggy out there, Today has been just like Saturday grey overcast sky muggy/humid sun trying to break through, had rain just after 2.30pm which was light and didnt last long but was refreshing,hoping for a repeat of Saturday but would prefer any storms to come tonight when its dark.

Wouldn't suprise me your in Lincoln after all.

The area of rain pointed out by Ben has according to some lightning maps produced sferics but on others has not.

Rain about to hit here though not going to be thundery unfortunately. Tomorrows another day with the chance of thunder in places and maybe another day with thunder for me though I think anything that does happen will be in different areas of the UK than today Good luck

Seems to be over now sky is clearing im happy with that puts me on 6 days thunder heard this year.

Quite a few rumbles light rain havent seen any lightning yet.

Blimey sky is dark here could be in for something soon has been dry since early this morning that could change in the next half hour or so.

A grey overcast start to the day with light rain just before 8am and remained overcast throughout the morning,Sun eventually burnt away the clag leaving blue sky and the sun warming things up. Unfortunately the clag has returned but remains humid so maybe with some luck could get something later although wouldn't put money on it. Disappointed that the first day off of two has started like this was hoping for a warm sunny day like the last few days have been but its not to be.

It would be good to see something over the next few days but it honestly wouldn't bother me if I didn't I've had 5 thunder days this year already when usually I'm on 0. Would be nice to have a sunny warm weekend and enjoy it but if there's to be thundery weather that would be a bonus. Charts are chopping and changing all the time and certainly can't be used as weather guaranteed to happen because of what it shows at one particular time or another. Better to just follow the thread keep up to date and eyes on the sky. Best of luck
