    Having read the forecasts I'm lead to believe that the south west has a chance of storms tonight.would be good to have a proper storm just hope that if we do get anything it's not to late in the night as have work in the morning.

    First proper rain today falling now been a mostly dry day nothing thundery though

    Most of the rain is missing here has been mostly dry and the sun out at times hoping for something thundery but don't think there will be anything here today.

    I may of missed some thunder and lightning looking at the ATD been sleeping on and off after a stag night hope I haven't.

    Thought it would be raining by now but still dry.not getting my hopes up on anything thundery today.

    If there is to be rain on Friday as I've heard people saying I hope it comes in the evening...was disappointed last Friday had half day and was looking forward to a few beers in the pub garden but it was cloudy and chilly.hoping for a better afternoon lots of sunshine this Friday.Don't like the sound of a possible cold spell either want it to stay sunny and don't want cold weather but if there is to be any storms I'll happily take that.

    Don't think this cell is going to do anything else bar the one flash No sign of the rain either.

    Lol I post then while outside I seen a flash even a bit of a fork no thunder, this was about 9.40 Some bright colours from shower coming in according to rain alarm. Will give half hour if nothing happens I'm off to bed so tired

    Had rain late afternoon felt quite humid and the sky did look stormy but nothing happened I didn't expect it to, roll on summer.

    Have had a look at a few forecasts and none of them say anything about storms this week.will just have to keep a eye on things and hope something of interest comes up.

    Cape charts not looking as good for the coming week Wednesday looked good but not so much now.

    I've seen 5 flashes in the last 20mins PIT it's not cg's it's what most would call sheet lightning.

    Have to agree with the others it is a brilliant site, I used to use 3 or 4 sites now I just use 1 this one very friendly, useful, and always someone to answer any questions why go anywhere else Netweather is the number one weather site!

    Been a few sferics near the Bristol channel but the rain has passed through now maybe something from other showers that come through will have to keep a eye on things.

    Just had a look at the rain alarm app and looks like a squall line is starting to develop, could be wrong though.

    Big Red blob of sferics on ATD but personally I think the lightning activity will have stopped by the time any rain reaches here.

    Sympathy to the family who's house was hit by lightning last night,with the seriousness of that put to one side I did have to laugh at a article on the Bristol evening post site which has the headline...Did you see or hear the massive thunderstorm in Bristol last night. Ummm what massive storm coz there definitely wasn't one in Bristol UK.
