  1. December 11th, last year. Could there be a repeat?
  2. I absolutely hate this weather. It may be dry, but the overcast skies during shorter days are extremely depressing.
  3. Temporarily unavailable again for me.
  4. Peaked at 15.5°C here today. November rainfall total keeps on increasing.. 164.4mm now.
  5. I thought I'd respond to this in this thread. I like the math! What year, month, and day did you grab the coefficient from? Also, those coefficient values cover the grid-to-grid of the northern hemisphere. I suspect the values would look a lot different if it was just covering the British isles?!
  6. Second time I have put it on this year. I also made a discovery on my combi boiler... The gas maintenance bloke did all of his annual checks in September last year, no issues as usual. I knew last winter's bill was going to be high, due to increased cost etc, but when the bill came in, I was shocked. Of course, the heating was still being used through much of Spring, however, it's never on all day, it would go on from about 5pm until 11pm. The Spring bill arrived and it shocked me again! I only finished paying for it all back in September - I am normally well in credit by that time. The gas maintenance bloke arrived and did all of his checks again not long ago, all good. When I went and turned the heating on earlier, I saw that the boiler's setting for both water and heating was set to it's maximum. In all the years I've had one, it has always been set to halfway on both heating and water, so it was the gas bloke who medalled with it, and I didn't notice it for a year. No wonder the bills were off of the scale.
  7. I'm thinking the UKV might be wrong. That area of rain yesterday was modelled very badly by the UKV. It showed most of it in the channel and in to France, with just some showers across the south. I suspect it doesn't do very well when low pressure creeps up from the south or southwest, whereas the data that the Met Office is using has a better handle on it. I think the same thing is happening again.. it'll be interesting to see what happens! It'll either be very wet with inch+ totals for much of the south, or just a run-of-the-mill 10mm here & there.
  8. Many problems with loading times today.
  9. Well that turned out to be a waste of time. I have my Airlink registered to my weatherlink live account, as that is the main account I use to get all of my data. My weatherlink console just has a simple dummy account, so it doesn't interfere with my main one. If you want to see your Airlink data, I have to remove it from my main account and link it to the console one, which is not what I want to do.
  10. Yo! A sunny second half to the day here. After a further 10.6mm of rain, the month is currently at 137.2mm. Yearly total has now exceeded 1100mm.
  11. A useless thunderstorm warning again. The wind is supposed to be gusting to 30mph as well, yet the wind is light.
  12. I think that all depends on where you are. It certainly didn't work out like that here in 2010. A few inches of snow fell, then it turned to rain and melted.
  13. The last couple of UKV runs have pushed the majority of it in to France.
  14. A few heavy showers this morning and one this afternoon. Feeling chilly in the wind. My artificial sun has arrived!
  15. That shouldn't be an issue as it's just telling you that the IP/DNS is reachable. It won't tell you that there's an issue with an SQL database.
