  1. I didn't post the charts leading up to that NK, as I'm biased towards Dorset.
  2. Don't forget, the cold upper air still hasn't fully materialised yet. Most of the region is under uppers of -2 to -4. They will fall through the day, and by evening we'll be under -6 to -7. So, over higher ground it will be exclusively snow tonight, but wintry at lower levels too.
  3. Ohhhh I see now! That completely threw me! LOL Couple of 18Z's Remember, the cold upper air hasn't filtered down to use yet - currently -2 to -3 uppers across the region.
  4. Slowly but surely, the MetO app keeps showing an increase in windspeed and gusts around midnight on Wednesday. Perhaps another station record in the offing?
  5. At a vital time, the radar is missing echo's from thew bottom third of the British Isles.
  6. One of the most rare occurrences I have ever witnessed... http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=33651.msg341640#msg341640
  7. The usual caveats apply to that, NK. If you're on higher ground, quite likely to get a dusting. 100m < is unlikely to accumulative, if it did in heavier precip, it probably wouldn't last very long.
  8. It certainly does! In fact, shower activity is quite profound on the SR model. I could imagine that if you're in a lucky (or unlucky) place, continual lines of showers could produce some large-ish rain totals as well. here's a good illustration:
  9. The NetWx SR model shows lot's of wintriness for pretty much all of our region tomorrow eve. I can't post charts right now... I say can't, i meant to say, I can't be bothered.
  10. I can't see the point in app to be honest. If Tapatalk isn't being used (which i'm glad about) developers just put a website within a wrapper and then release it as an app - completely pointless! The mobile skin in-browsing is fluid enough.
  11. I do believe that this is an upgrade?! Dorset will buried tomorrow evening.. buried in the tears of crying adults! ?
  12. Very wet between 9 and 10am this morning. The roads were soaking between Corfe castle and Wareham. It was gusting to 41mph first thing too. It's trying to brighten up at the moment, but it's certainly an improvement compared to last week. Temp: 11.2°C - Hum: 95% - Dew: 10.4°C - Bar: 995.90hPa - Rain: 14.4mm - Wind: WSW @ 15mph.
  13. Just an illustration of the 12Z v 18Z A difference of 9mb. However, the same trend of it deepening as in enters the UK, and when it exits, on every run.
  14. The movement overall has trended North. The UKMO model had the strongest winds in the channel & France a few days ago. Small corrections South are likely, but not a huge amount.
  15. Medium-range model showing the strongest winds in the West - Wales, and Northern England. Pressure of 976mb as it hits the UK, but instead of filling, it stays the same, and begins to drop further as it exits the UK. That's the problem, if the models continues to deepen it, it'll track unfavourably East instead of dropping South and East.
