Good Luck all for today
It's all gone past me, with nothing behind. LOL
-
Missed absolutely everything here today. Unbelieveable after looking back on the radar.
-
Showers just starting to come in to view on the radar. Certainly a good chance of thunder during the heavy showers, but likely to be fast moving.
-
-
Started raining at around 10:30am, some heavy pulses, and some heavy drizzle too. Currently 13mm, temp at 12.5°C
-
Glad we didn't cancel outdoor plans for today based on the BBC/Met Office forecast!
Second night of a local beer festival was cancelled because of their incompetent forecasts. After 0.2mm of drizzle around 6:30pm, it stayed dry for the entire night.. some very unhappy people.
Just 11C was progged for here just a few days ago, i'm currently in the warmest part of the country.
-
After an epic fail of forecasting from the beeb and mo for last night, it's lovely here. Sunny spells at times, feeling quite warm at 16.6°C.
-
I see two thirds of June being what i consider below par for this time of year, and then settling down in the last 10 days or so.
It's going to be interesting how the models deal with the Beryl remnants in the coming days. ECM shows it being absorbed in to a stationary low out in the Atlantic and then splitting again as it trundles towards us. I'm sure it'll go a bit manic at times ..
If it does push far enough east over the UK, it could well produce a few spin-off lows bringing plenty of rain to some areas. I wouldn't quite think a long the lines of April just gone, but it certainly could be a very wet month for some folk, going by a few of the outputs.
-
The remnants of tropical storm Beryl are showing up ont he GFS now. Quite possible that it will get absorbed in to the Atlantic flow and head this way next week, albeit, weaker of course.
-
Dark clouds to my south west, but not a hint of any returns on the radar.
-
Suns back out, zilch here as usual.
-
Models showing it to be pretty wet in the south on Sunday. On Monday, the BBC were saying 'Dry jubilee weekend' I thought at the time that it was a bit outlandish of them to say that.
-
Dropped another degree since my last post, down to 18C now, completely clouded over.
-
Certainly not a lot going on here, apart from the temperature dropping a degree in last half an hour.
Seems to be a lot of cloud spilling in from the south west, that'll probably hamper things in many areas, probably why the MO aren't too concerned.
-
I hope i get something here at some point this year. 2005 was the last time i had an actual thunderstorm.
-
The sun is completely blotted out by cumulus now. 14.5C dewpoint, it does look as though something could trigger here, but i won't hold my breath.
Check my station below and follow the webcam link in the nav bar for a look.

Deep rumbles too my South, but looks like its going away from me???
Not a single drop of rain, but have heard Dartford Tunnel has been closed due to flooding....anybody confirm?
apparently it has opened back up again, but there's a lot of congestion.
-
Thunder has been reported now.
-
Nice radar image at 15:05.

Request for pictures:
No one loves pictures of hell breaking loose more than the people in this thread.
Totally! A picture is about as close as i'll come to a storm. lol
-
BBC weather tweet again:- Main areas for potential thunderstorm development this pm look to be parts of Essex/Suffolk, West N Ireland, Grampians/S.Highlands.
-
Anyone know the likelihood of storms in and around Bristol area?
Not likely to be much here i'm afraid. You probably stand a better chance on Wednesday
-
BBC weather response on Twitter:- There is potential for enormous thunderstorms late today around the London area. Up to 30mm rain could bring localised flooding.
I hope some of you lucky folks in that area get something later. If you do .. get the pics and video up asap!
