  1. Moderate rain atm, can hear the odd rumble from the strikes further into Suffolk. Got soaked trying to finish topping a field, can't believe I'm having hot chocolate in June!
  2. Moderate rain here, have heard some rumbles but must be towards Bury St Edmunds looking at the radar.
  3. Nick you might want to alter the date on the convective forecast to June
  4. I had the pleasure of a similar storm in Holland in August 2015. Six hours and stretched from France to Germany! And that was after July had delivered twice locally - I was indeed a happy bunny
  5. Couple of loudish rumbles, guess that's an exit from the NSC even though I wasn't at home lol
  6. my shearer reported thunder nr Bury St Edmunds. Large raindrops in E Dereham but nowt else.
  7. The only active thing in Europe is that blasted storm now approaching Hamburg - all the way from the NE of England. Make it up?
  8. Just had three rain drops from a gloomy sky, now brightening up again. Never mid the No Storms Club, what about the No Rain Club? Or the One Minute of Ploppy Rain Club?
  9. Blimey I must have missed that (memory not what it was possibly haha)
  10. Don't think the east will see too much tbh, although anything south of Cambridge might make it to S Norfolk/Suffolk
  11. If you hold on for a few hours you'll probably get that N Sea monster
  12. Looks like the NE track is too far north for me unless something develops further south
  13. Couple of sferics now nr Oxford, but I'm still fascinated by Big Brother nearing Denmark
  14. Look at that thing - how does something turn into a monster over the N Sea and keep going for hours on end and yet storms can barely limp across 20 odd miles of Channel?
  15. Ah yes, remember watching various vids from London - the thunder was incredibly loud on all of them (don't think we had anything here)
  16. Humidity on the increase here, skies are looking "interesting" (well, more interesting than wall to wall blue anyway!)
  17. No warnings for the east of England at all - only a mention of "thundery showers" so beloved by Look East on the BBC!
