  1. The CAPE doesn't appear to be very strong going by that chart. Hopefully it will increase during the next few days.
  2. GFS seems to keep us predominately under mildish air with a Low out to the West at +63 hours.
  3. Cold here as well! Current temp of 9C and a light to moderate northeasterly breeze. Bright and sunny as well.
  4. Well hopefully next week will deliver us all a storm. I don't like it when I get frustrated, I tend to not know what I am doing half of the time!
  5. Ah, this is all good news for me then! Mind you here we look to be pretty close to that 0.15mm line.
  6. Well I must say that these past few days have been rather, if not utterly dissapointing considering how much potential was showing up on the charts. The only thing I managed to get here on Thursday and Friday was heavy showers and not even 1 rumble! I have heard and seen some lightning this year but it was only distant and we havn't had what I call a proper storm where there is at least one flash every minute so I guess because of this it means that I am still stuck in here. I think I heard someone say on the Model Discussion that there was more potential possible a week from now. Does anyone know if this is correct?
  7. Damp, grey and with only moderate visibility. A light to moderate northeasterly wind. Feels cold with a temperature of 10C and we better not get any rain tonight or I will be even more unhappy!
  8. After these past two day's it has made me realise something very important. If you ever do actually get thunder when it is forecast, then you are a very lucky man as the chance just seems to be so much lower of getting something these days. Currently the skies look a bit odd here, I can even see some distant towering cumulus clouds, which are lit up bright orange, to the southwest.
  9. Mother Nature doesn't like us.The majourity on here should know that by now.
  10. Well apart from having a few very heavy showers last night we didn't have any thunder. I did however see some distant lightning flashes to the southeast. Given that the forecasts are just a risk doesn't bode well for thunder here today but of course it could also go the other way.
  11. Had showers today, some of them torrential. No thunder though! Max temp of 17C
  12. Does this mean we still have a risk remaining for something tonight and tomorrow then?
  13. Ian Ferguson tonight sayed that there could be large hail later tonight for our area which has made me a bit happier again. Hope we get something.
  14. I'm 16, and by the looks of it I will be gone before I have even reached my twenties. Life just isn't interesting to me currently. Sorry but I feel really bad at the moment.
  15. I was just and still am just dissapointed with the outcome of the weather.Personally I am quite hurt that you said this. I don't understand what else I am suppose to do.
  16. It wouldn't really. At least with Artificial fireworks you can be garanteed that you will actually see them and not be chasing around risks all the time!
  17. Hey, i've just remembered yesterday's BBC Points West forecast from Ian Ferguson. I can distinctly remember him not mentioning about any thunder at all! I think I will listen to him a bit more now.
  18. I am assuming that it was isolated as otherwise I would be suprised that no one saw it.
  19. What! You mean it's not working or that there is so much Sferics showing?
  20. I hope your right!Tomorrow I will be even more angry if I don't get at least one rumble.
