    Didn't like the look of Schafernakers forecast during the night for my location. Everything fizzles out before it reaches South Essex. Bloody story of my Winter so far!

    BBC still showing 'Light Snow' for my area in South Essex. Getting a bit worried now that this is going to be another non-event for me again. Need the winds to move to a more ENE direction tonight and it could be jackpot for me!

    Just had a read through the MOD thread, and at no point has anyone said "there is an easterly coming". A few have posted charts of a possible easterly, but again none of those that have posted said charts have said that this is going to happen.

    Had about an hour of moderate snow here in south Essex. Turned back to a rain/sleet mix now. No covering.

    I wish more people would post in the short range model thread. Bit pointless with just one or two posters a day. I'd definitely spend more time in there than the normal thread.

    If we hadn't had that couple of hours rain today, we would have had a great covering in S Essex. Still moderate snow but struggling to settle on the wet ground.

    I must be right on the edge of the rain/snow boarder. Had rain for 2 and a half hours, just changed to heavy snow for 5 mins then back to rain again, and then nothing.

    Looks like the rain band is heading further north into Essex. Needs to do one!

    Ugh! Had a good setting, could have had a couple on Cms about now. But the rain has ruined it in Linford.
