  1. Could someone be a dear and link me to the Model output thread for Nov/Dec 2010. Can't seem to find it in the archives.
  2. I had a reply ready that probably would have been removed so I'll just say this. I follow other forums other than this one, and in one or two I've visited I've noticed that you also visit. And low and behold you do exactly the same there as you do here. If its not moaning to others about their weather preference it's insulting people due to their beliefs. You really are a something else mushy!
  3. Yeah, thank god. It was becoming rather boring in the MOD thread. About time things got exciting.
  4. This thread will be disappear faster than a Jaffa Cake at a Weight Watchers meeting!
  5. And how would it affect you if all those threads did exist? No one is forcing you to enter them!
  6. Erm......... I don't know how to tell you this, but there is already an Autumn thread! :s
  7. Unfortunately, Winter seems to be the forbidden fruit on this forum for some reason. Although I do agree that it still is a little early to be discussing this coming Winter, I do believe there should be a separate thread open for all four seasons all year round. If you don't want to discuss it don't enter the thread........ simples.
  8. Was my favorite Autumn to date. Loved the way it panned out.
  9. Hoping for much the same as you. Nice and warm to start with, and then turning colder towards the tail end. 2010 anyone?
  10. I was just about to post the same thing. What makes this month any different than the previous 3?
  11. One of the poorest posts I've read, and that's saying something for this thread!
  12. Firstly because I like to read mushys comments about the weather, and secondly as long as you can read peoples comments when they're quoted even if you have them on ignore then the 'ignore' function is useless.
  13. And here we have it from the other side. When I picked up mushy for his bias you all joined in. Now Tony27 has shown his bias where are all the posters who jumped on mushy????
  14. Don't think you understand where I'm coming from. I agree that there are the same sort of comments coming from both sides of the divide, but it seems that 50% of mushys comments are about other peoples preferences compared to his own. I'm not saying that I disagree with him, just change the bloody record!
  15. I like your analysis during the summer months mushymanrob but by god you do come across as an anti-cold troll. Can't you just accept that people have different views than your own and get on with it!
  16. I'm at the point now where I've had enough of the search for cold and am now looking forward to some dryer and brighter days that I hope lay ahead. I would like to thank the likes of Steve Murr, nicksussex amongst others for their valuable and insightful knowledge during the Autumn and Winter months and hope to see it all again for the next bout of Winter cold hunting come November. Now I'm looking forward to the likes of Summer Sun, Mushymanrob (without the coldie caravaniness!:-p ) & the sun loving Frosty with all the other warminestas looking for that all too elusive high pressure from the south.
  17. Agreed. If Winter threads can be started in August then it's only fair the Spring thread can start now.
  18. Although you may be right don't you think its a bit early to be crowing about it Gibby? This cold spell is still a few day's away, plenty of time for a lot of people to end up with egg on their face. Don't be one of them.
  19. Although I don't disagree with the fact that people on here change their mind like the weather (see what I did there), one thing you need to realise is the models are better at handling as some call it "mild westerlies" because that is the default weather for our country. They are more likely to be right if that is what is constantly being shown than a raging beast from the east.
  20. A lot of people on both sides (Warmies/Coldies)have the tendancy to over hype their preferred weather type. I've been following this forum for a long time, even decided to register a couple of years back, but still try to keep my distance. Although this forum is a lot quieter during the summer than in winter, there are still around the same percetage of people who are over the top with their predictions. This in itself isn't a problem for me, because you find people like this in all walks of life. What does annoy me though is the amount of people, especially over the past couple of years, that have now decided to take it upon themselves to call people out on their preferences, sometimes is goes as far as insulting people because they have an opinion that differs from their own. There are one or two posters on here that get away with murder who should of at least been banned by now, but alas they are still here, free to talk their drivel.I have decided to carry on following this forum during the winter, hoping that things calm down a bit. If not I shall move on to find a forum with less in fighting and more weather discussion.
  21. Although I do agree that laserguy is a bit of a pain with his moaning I do have to mention that there are some Summer loving folk who are just as bad (One is even worse) and that includes a member of the forum team who get away with murder on here. So I believe the best way to deal with this is you either let everybody have their opinion regardless of what it is or you make sure everybody is suitably warned for their behaviour. I do detest double standards.
  22. I did have a sheet, but true to my name I'm a twister in bed so it didn't last long.
