Still hammering down here; fierce wind but could be heavier. Must be savage on Mendips and Exmoor
That heavier precip appears to be edging closer to Bristol now

Just did a lampost check and confirm we have slightly bigger snowflakes.
The edge of that snowfall must be near.

Can't believe you ruined that mini-drift right outside their front door
Haha I've been back out and it's self repaired!

The fact we had this snow at all is a bonus for me! I was expecting winter to end with nothing except the brief dustings back in December to be honest. Love it. Approx 10cm here but just on hill behind the town around 15cm. Drifts blowing across the A38 too. Don't think I have seen that before.
Yeah don't get me wrong its been an awesome end to winter, today. Buzzing! I'm just being greedy though!

The met office got it right, W-S-M was just in the red zone.
So @Jayfromcardiff will be buzzing even more now!

Yes I think it is pivoting across to the red warning areas.
Just now, Gas Ed said:I fear the same. Seems to be just skirting us for the past couple of hours.
Certainly looks that way guys - I'll remain positive for now but not looking overly promising at this moment

That heavy stuff south of Bristol looks like it's going to miss us!

The falling snow is really swirling around in all directions. I really should venture out but 'er indoors thinks i'm a bit over the top when it snows like this
I've literally just come in from doing a 3 minute video. Absolutely epic!
I will try to post shortly. The wind with that snow is insane! Wow!

Really heavy stuff seems to be forever getting here. Will it?

It will! I hope!

Blowing a hoolie now. Really noisey outside my back garden - faces N/NE.
Driving snow of the fine type still. Temps still at -4c so guess flakes wont get bigger for a while yet.
Any heavier pulses heading this way, guys?
Yes it sure is! Really hoping for some proper heavy snow later.
Temp -2.9c Dew Point -3c

Some incredible snow drifts round these parts, not seen anything like this whilst I've lived in Bristol.
What I'd really like now is some big bad heavy snow!

Someone show me the door...

The red warning really should be extended , not sure why it covers such a small area.
Should it include Bristol, Nick?

Work have decided to send us home, although I live a 10 minute bike ride away! It's all good!
Anyhow, that wind is incredibly raw and with the light snow now sticking to everything and blowing around, it looks like I'm somewhere in Scandinavia, not Bristol!

Snow blowing across our road like fine sand. V fine snow falling but quite persistent.
Indeed - Quite amazing to watch! Especially when it swirls up like a dust devil.

Nope. Just shown on This Morning (ITV). A 'forecast' radar graphic from Meto i guess. They ran the loop. SW Yes, Bristol and to East looks like more marginal going by that radar prediction.
Your area looks right in firing line.
I'll stay at work then in that case

Fair to say its blowing a gale out there!
That wind is savagely cold!

Still game on for a snow burial then by the looks of things. Looking forward to what tomorrow may bring.
One thing for sure is that my daughter is going to love building a snowman Friday evening if we're pasted in snow!
Hopefully we get a red warning so @karlos1983 and I dont need to do any 'editing' tomorrow!
Although we may get banned!

Decent snow shower here just now. Light covering on mostly everything and the temp has dropped quite a lot it would seem.
