  1. And here! Snowing since 4ish yet I know that if this was wetter, straight falling snow we'd be knee deep but the accumulation doesn't match the houra of snow because it as being blown everywhere being so powdery and dry!
  2. Love this! Thank you! You could save me a wasted trip and that look on the kids faces again, lol! Thanks x
  3. 41yrs old here and grew up on Box Hill in the 80's.......nuff said!!! Explains why I've ended up here 30yrs later, eh?! And my brother @Chertseystreamer79 too!!!x
  4. Despite the fact I got some unexpected snow today in Epsom, it has been so odd to see snowy beaches to our South and a snowy London to our North! I went to Box Hill today and the main slope was green at 10.30am! Luckily we found a little slope by the Fort which helped to appease the kid's (and mine!) disappointment!!
  5. Fab! What would be your guess or is that the most impossible question to answer, lol?!
  6. I know! But is that the nature of a Streamer, it feeds itself kind of?! Obviously I'm still learning all this (despite 7yrs on this forum, Lol!)
  7. Is this a Thames Streamer I'm sat under in Epsom?! And how long do we think it'll last?!
  8. Totally unexpected today in Epsom Surrey, coming down hard and fast right now!! I have a lamppost outside my house!!!
  9. Yes! Do you think these are going to continue for a while yet then? Nice little starter before the main tomorrow hopefully?!
  10. Oooo really?! On/off here for the last hour but progressively more dark/cloud! Interesting about NESCOT, could also be due to a lot of people come via the Downs to get there too? I didn't know they had a SEN Unit, good to know for the future for my son! Have lots of fun and let's hope for more here, not been the best location to be for a lot of this!x
  11. Light snow in Epsom, would be a blizzard if it was heavier as the wind is VERY strong!! Is this the start of a Storeamer or just a random?!x EDIT: Sun's now out again
  12. Got the kids suited and booted, packed the sledges, left dusty Epsom and headed for Boxhill where it was beautifully snowy...... ....UNTIL we turned the corner to view point which was in the sun and GREEN!!!!! The snow had already melted by 10.30am!!!! Very disappointed kids until we found another mini slope still in the shade so still managed to have some fun!! Hoping for more tomorrow/Friday!!
  13. Meto have issued a yellow warning for today now! Didn't have that last night, was supposed to be all sunshine today!x
  14. So there was a bit of a Thames Streamer then?! A very big surprise of 1-2cm in Epsom, looks sooo pretty, especially in the orange hue of the sunrise earlier! Yay!!x
  15. Yipee! You've just cheered up a snowless Surrey lass!! Fingers crossed!! Thanks
  16. When your sister in law lives near Maidstone and sends pics of loads of snow but HATES snow and wants it to stop!!!! Salt in wound!!! (From dusty Epsom!)
  17. We have friends on the Woodcote and I know the roads don't get gritted there so I hope it doesn't get too icy for you! I' actually in Ashtead but my son goes to school near the Downs, we had to go to Tadworth this morning and that already had more lying snow left there before today! If I hadn't been busy I was going to drive as far as I could get East to enjoy some!x
  18. Yes unfortunately for us in Epsom it ended up being a Beast from the Northeast and made all the difference
  19. Nadda....... hoping for some in Epsom when the wind changes direction this afternoon but even then it just looks like more on/off flurries like yesterday, doesn't leave much laying. Let's see what Thurs and Friday brings, milder sure looks to have been shunted to Saturday now x
  20. Ooooo I can see sparkles in the sky!!! Oh wait, that'll be the stars and the moon on this crisp, CLEAR skyed evening!!! Zero to report here in Epsom ??
