You should be okay Gavin!
Still enough Spaces left for a Tuesday Booking I would have thought!
If we get more than 3 on each Tour will definately add another car, as 2 Cars work better than 1!
Paul S
Pm'ed you mate....
We've added a second chase vehicle on tour 3, so there are now 3 extra spaces available. We are very likely to do this on the other two tours as well..This is superb news Paul. 2010 it is then! Live the dream......

Have been watching Andy for the last 10 minutes. Incredible. He is in the heart of a storm there, frequent cc and cg lightning flickering away.
-
I'd love to be there now. Lets hope a tube drops and that the guys use the window wipers so we can see it
And there off................this live streaming is awesome!
-
Anyone watching the live streaming then would have seen some fantastic mammatus clouds. Great stuff guys.................

seems to be working fine for me tonight. Thems very angry looking skies out there! fingers crossed we might get to see something good!
Evening Louby, refreshed and all is working fine now.
There on the move. NE maybe?
-
Yip, unfortunatley coverage isnt great where they are. They lost coverage when they started to head away from Enid. Lets hope they head a little North again and it will come back. Fingers crossed
Ok thanks. Lets hope so, fingers and toes crossed

Anybody else finding the live streaming intermitant?
Tonight's action can't be missed. 6 tornadoes in Missouri so far
-
some of the CGs were very severe....
Unforunately uploading causes the resolution to diminsh....
Awesome Dogs (9 - 12 seconds) never seen lightning like it.
I'd like to add that after following the live streaming from lastnight which was incredible guys, all of your photography is tops too. Especially liked Paul's last one with the multipule CG strikes, but all of them are great guys. Spectacular as TRL says!
Thoroughly enjoyable and really really look forward to being out there 2010.

The atmosphere looks very unstable where the guys are. Looking carefully now for a funnel or tube to drop......

The latest radar image is above in my previous post ... may need to refresh it.
See they have just pulled up outside of somewhere off the interstate, maybe to check out data.
Thanks Nick.
Lets hope they get back on the road soon.
Glad to see our hard work on this has payed off. We did allot of testing this side of the pond before heading state side, but bandwidth issues in certain parts of the plains required allot more tweaking than we had anticipated.Seems to be working great now allright.
The live-streaming is excellent. Great work. It will be very nice to be on the other end though next Spring.
-
Do you have the latest radar image(s) from the cells there approaching Nick?
This live-streaming is great, almost feel I'm there.

Extreme fog chasing in Skegness perhaps?
Joking aside, its a good thread, as most people are aware, the stateside trips are expensive....How about storm chasing in Central France? Straight across on the ferry 4 hour drive to chase zone, et voila,a developing MCS or Supercell.....I guess something like this could be arranged at fairly short notice, a 4 or 5 day trip maybe, judging by storm activity over France during the late summer months, they'd be a very good chance of seeing some great storms!
Lol.
The France idea is a great one ajpoolshark. Money is tight here in SW Suffolk atm, so a chase down to France would be a definate second best. They experience some pretty intense storms down there during July and August. Maybe Paul can organise something in the near future.
Thats a plan!

Winds moving in opp directions very close together on the doppler part of the the radar scan, they indicate rotation. They are coupled together hence a couplet. I always think of two couples dancing to remember it.
Thanks Sammie
Well spotted there Gorky and Nick........things seem to be happening rather quickly now. Great to see the hook appearing on the radar.....signs of a very unstable atmosphere/rotating cell with the prospects of a tube in the immediate future I suspect.
-
I'm not quite sure what you mean by couplet Gorky. Could you please explain as I've never heard of this term/phrase used in Meteorology before?
Collins English Dictionary: Couplet n two successive lines of verse, usually rhyming and of the same metre. For instance "Humpty dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty dumpty had a great fall."
Back to the chase....... The Live Streaming is fantastic. Great work NW.
-
Been away 5 minutes and return to this  Looks like the heavens have opened...........
Is that flooding infront of the car?
-
Nice view of the CB's on live streaming
