Actually, is starting to stick again now on cars which snow had fallen off/was cleared off!

Still decent snowfall here. Bigger snowflakes have made way for the finer stuff that we'd had all day. Noticeable that the temps had rose as it didn't seem to be sticking for the last hour but as others have said, temps will go down soon.

Steady snow again in Walsall, this time with bigger flakes.

Gritters seem to be thinking the same thing, apparently they're expecting a dumping in the area.

Snow is quite light now. Gritting company will not be out until later as they expect another dumping after 12? Not sure how they've come to that conclusion!

Yep, definitely breaking up now. Still snowing for now though.

When are we expecting this to quieten down and reduce to just showers?

Hi all. Only awake as I'm not feeling too well! Was hoping to be in the firing line here in Walsall. Seems to be slightly more southern to me though. Oh well, we'll get some I think (I hope!).

Been at the football this afternoon, bitterly cold out. Looking forward to some snow here tomorrow!

Just been woken up by the winds here, some strong gusts! Just the one branch down in the road so far. Hope the very early starters are taking it easy out there.

I personally think it's great. Storms are taken more seriously when they're named as you know it could cause problems. Yes, sometimes they get overhyped because they're named but in the whole I think it's great.

Looking forward to seeing what tonight/tomorrow morning brings as long as everyone stays safe of course! Could be very interesting for north Midlands such as Stafford upwards who will bear the brunt. I'm about 20 miles south of Stafford so I'm still expecting a few strong gusts but I don't expect any trees coming down! Stay safe all

Hi all, Been meaning to come on since Storm Doris. What a wild day that was. Trees, fences and even trampolines felt the full force of Doris around here. I take it that Storm Ewan is going to be north of us this time, winds are certainly picking up though.

Hi all. Snow has all melted now. A good night with quite heavy snow for a while late last night and this morning. A nice surprise

A few flakes falling again here. Showers seem to be dying as they get closer but expecting some light snow for a bit now. Anything other than that will be a bonus!

Just checked the radar... a nice shower on the way for a few of us hopefully... Currently over Market Drayton. Lets hope that doesn't weaken!
