I can't see the snow getting past the north Midlands before it fizzles out.
It will b rain if it reaches us anyway, temps for tonight and tomorrow are about 1-2c not the minus digits we need
-
Temps have definitely risen here, feels nowhere near as cold as this afternoon
-
Ice is going to b the main issue for most of south wales not snow, temps and dew points are currently rising

Now this is more like it, clear skies light winds and a fantastic looking frost, warming up to much later for any snow to lower levels but high ground may have a sprinkle. There's an ice warning and no snow warning so rain to lower levels causing ice to form for overnight and maybe where it hits the cold surfaces to start

Don't worry about type of pp with temperature of 0 c .Worry about if there enough pp on the front.the famous Cheshire gap is favoured or most snow because there's no bloddy mountains in the way lol.
Temps are forecast to be 1-2c so will b rain for most places unless it arrives later

I always thought it was going to be marginal this week. According to yesterdays met forecast it was a dry day and night but ended up with a covering. Compare the met and BBC forecasts and look out of the window and you can get three different outlooks.
Its next weekend that its all supposed to happen
I know they are not that accurate but gives you an idea what could happen from Thursday from another source
This is the week forecast from the met office for wales

True, do you fancy our chances of snow in South Wales over the coming days? Thursday is showing some potential.
I honestly don't c anything worth getting excited about this week cos temps are to high, after that is anyone's guess

Is there any chance of these showers reaching the valleys/ Cardiff area?
I don’t know why it’s attached what keithlucky said sorry
A slight chance but hopefully it won't cos we don't need anymore rain
-
Lows of 2c through the night and high of 5c through the day says rain tomorrow and that's pretty much the temps all week here

I agree, no chance of snow at all this week. All over hyped.
I don't think its been overhyped tbh, from most of what I could see it was all going to b marginal for us but I did think temps would b slightly lower than this
-
It just isn't cold enough for us to get any amount of snow, highs of 4-5c for the rest of the week and minimum temps barely into freezing at the coldest times of the night. Cold rain all the way
-
Temps are to much on the milder side for us at the moment, I think even 300m might struggle tomorrow and Thursday, thats if we even get the precipitation
- 1
-
We're just to warm for snow, I just hope it improves further on cos cold rain just doesn't cut it

I'm crap at reading these, any idea whether it's definitely going to be snow or is it marginal?
