We need to rely on the professional viewpoint dew points etc ...and they don't issue weather warnings lightly, besides no doubt Thursday is a snow feast.
So Thursday is a snow fest now is it?? What happened to tomorrow? On the weekend Tuesday was the snow fest, and Wednesday it will b Friday or Saturday which will b the snow fest. Can u c where this is going? The same as the models all winter things being pushed back and not happening. I do hope your right for Thursday tho but im expecting it to go the way of the pear

Metoffice warning for all of Wales now .
I'd say the main concern is the ice not the snow for low levels
-
Expect rain and if u have snow it's a bonus

High ground event then tomorrow it looks like.
I'd say 150m and above but if the precipitation is heavy enough u just never know with low lying areas

BBC said even low levels in Wales and the South West so I assume we'll see some snow.
Ye there's a difference between falling snow and snow disruption mind, we probably will c snow but not enough to cause any problems. Probably the reason y there is no warnings for us but I think higher ground heads of valleys etc may upgraded to yellow warning

Until meto issue a warning my feet r firmly on the ground and expecting rain here, high ground could b in for a good treat mind

Thought it would be a lot more busy in here with what’s happening to the weather this week,is it still on for us or has it moved away from us ?

Why does the met office text not mention any of this potential snow shown on the charts?
Watch the latest video and it mentions the chance of weather warnings for the South on Tuesday but still very uncertain at mo

I've been on this forum a few years now but I've never known it to b this bad b4, the mad thread is unreal I come out of there and I honestly don't know which way is up or down. Ecm is great loads of snow potential we'll b digging ourselves out, next post Ecm is poor cold rain is all we're getting and that's from people in the same area!!!!! Mind blowing

It still gets me that people r relying on charts 5 days + away, and as for the meto need to b putting out early warnings for people on hills etc is a joke. We have the facilities and technology these days which we didn't years ago and unless we have something like we've never experienced before we will manage. I'm not saying the weather isn't going to get colder but it will b your average winter afair over the next week
-
Looks like it's back to chasing charts 10 days away again then
-
What's happened to snowmageddon and the mini ice age guys?? All doom and gloom is what I've been reading this morning and it's now on to chasing February for the cold and snow

Grow up pal no need for that comment at all, the point I was trying to make is that you said the cold is always 10 days away and keeps getting pushed back, well not anymore the trends are there and the cold is coming so get used to it Also where in my comment did I say it was nailed on? Enlighten me
The stop mis informing people is the reasoning behind that reply, so tell me I am wrong about the models showing the cold to b 10 days away and then keep moving it 10 days away, from just before Xmas and I'll happily agree with u that I'm mis informing people. So next time ur trying to make a point make sure the point ur making is correct first and as I said just because the models r showing it 8 days away doesn't make it nailed on

Totally confused after reading in the mad thread,is this cold/snow going to happen?
In 10 days time, then when we get to that day it will b another 10 days. I can c this winter being the winter that promised so much but failed to deliver
-
The cold keeps getting pushed back to 10 days + and has been since the start of winter. Until the models show it within a 3 day timescale I won't b getting excited
-
Love your optimism guys but no chart is showing these extreme conditions within a reliable timeframe, it only takes a slight shift somewhere and we'll b back to groundhog day. Hopefully not........
-
Bored of this wind and rain now, please bring on the colder weather or just dry for a week or 2 would b great as well

A few hefty hail showers here today, I can't wait for this groundhog day shower of s##t to dissapear it's depressing waking up to grey wet mornings all the time. We've had countless games called off due to waterlogged pitches already

I think everyone is down beat after the 10 day charts never verifying and the ground hog day of a winter we've had so far. Don't get me wrong we've had wetter winters than this but it's not usually this boring lol. I think we've been spoilt from last March and now snow showers r not good enough any more we want them 10ft drifts back
