    Well today has been one of the best days of weather for a long time... Ice on the windscreen, Fog down in the valley's, many different types of clouds, beautiful towering Cu, comfortably warm, hardly a breath of wind, just fantastic!!

    Was hoping for a bit of storm action tonight. Nice to have thr first plume of the year though and with every plume comes a chance of thunderstorms:)

    Just had a massive downgrade on the GFS, yesterday showing max of 19c, now gone back to single digits and rain

    This winter really has been the worst I've experienced, apart from last week we've really been struggling to get even just the odd settled day here and there since November. It's actually starting to make me feel depressed now, I just hope spring can deliver something more settled.

    Weather forecast continuing it's depressing theme, more wind & rain with no end in sight. I can only hope 2016 has something more settled in store for us...

    GFS has the pressure going very high next week - 1042mb on Wednesday, still a long way off but it would be nice to have a settled period after all the rain and wind we've had throughout November.

    well I was wrong the fog cleared for about 1 hour and now it's back again.

    Next week looks abysmal! More of the same crud, wet and windy and no sign of any settled period. August has failed to impress me. I'll get my coat (literally)
