  1. The second half of next week doesn't look too bad in the south on this mornings GFS, we should have temperatures around 20C with light winds.
  2. Level 1 ESTOFEX issued for parts central and northern England. http://www.estofex.org/cgi-bin/polygon/showforecast.cgi?lightningmap=yes&fcstfile=2015072006_201507190001_3_stormforecast.xml
  3. Still haven't had a direct hit this year, a few near misses though! Seems like storms don't like to be any further West than the IOW!
  4. Unlikely to happen for your location I'm afraid, storms are mainly affecting the South East only tonight. Welcome to the forum btw!
  5. IOW cell, view to my SE whilst walking the dogs. The Mothership has landed!! Taken with my phone, just wish I had my DSLR!!
  6. towers going up to my North and East. Awesome thanks for sharing!
  7. The models are really quite poor tbh, was hoping the warmth would stick around for a bit but we're back to the nagging NW'erly wind, and as usual any hint of warmth in FI gets pushed East.
  8. Can see perhaps the odd shower with a rumble in it tomorrow, but you never know.
  9. Just to Recap what areas were affected by thunderstorms during this plume over the past 4 days! Hopefully more events like this to come!
  10. Just been watching that Bournemouth cell from my garden, constant flashing but most of it was IC from where I'm looking
  11. Debating whether to go and chase that Bournemouth storm, thought it was coming here but now veering off to the NE.
  12. Lightning observed here about a minute ago, flashes seem to be every 2 mins
  13. Thinking about driving East on the A303 and parking up in a Lay-by with decent views. Then I can head North or further East if need be. I fear my home location might be too far south as usually it all goes bang just north of here!
  14. This stuff heading up from France will be a Kent Clipper at best IMHO, it's veering off to the east now and the weaker parts to the west won't have the energy to make it across the channel.
