    You know, if it wasn't for the longer days I wouldn't be able to tell if it's July or October, especially on days like today. We skipped Spring, and after one month of Summer we seemed to have advanced to Autumn.

    Yeah there's been a few nice visuals, albeit nothing spectacular. For those interested, here is a map showing every recorded lightning strike in the region over the last 30 days.

    Really am getting tired of this month now. Barely any sunshine to speak of, and not a single thunderstorm (which is in contrast to most areas of the Midlands). Bring on August for crying out loud!

    Seems that my location has dodged every storm over the last three weeks... today being no exception. Southern areas have also been missing out in general.

    Bottom of the barrel kind-of 'summer' weather today, akin to what you'd expect in November.

    Not seeing anything exceptional in the forecast, perhaps a few thundershowers?

    Don't think there's any energy left for thunderstorms today.

    Worcestershire didn't do too badly, fair bit of activity in Redditch earlier and Worcester recently. Looks like South Warwickshire and North Staffordshire did the worst in the region.

    Rubbish day here. Pretty much missed all the action by a few miles.

    Some really potent storms in the Central/North Midlands today. Meanwhile, in the South Midlands...

    A really poor show here today considering the warnings. Oh well, at least the rest of the week looks to be sunny and warm.

    Ended up under this patch of rain which is really just heavy rain with a few rumbles of thunder.

    Exceptionally cold tonight, temperature of -10.1C recorded which is quite impressive.

    Snow flurry here as well that isn't showing on the radar.

    Is it not snowing in Wellesbourne? Stratford also has about 3 inches.

    looks like some good potential for snow in areas that haven't yet received any yet... Already 5cm out of the blue here so don't get your hopes up!
