The whole of the GFS 12z is so boring, the coldest it gets is -2 uppers. GFS has been poor the last few weeks, ECM much better. I think the first half of November can be written off.
The next week looks like it will remain mild...
but week 2 will change as it always does.
Just don't get why people analysis anything over 10 days away, it's a pointless exercise!
It takes time for the models to smell the coffee sometimes.

Both the ECM and GFS are toying with blocking over Greenland and a Northerly setting up for the UK. There is clearly support for this to happen between days 8-10.
The 00z GFS has even more blocking!
